Roland BT-1 Pod Trigger, Versatile add-on trigger pad for v-pads and acoustic drums

Free P&P, arrived next day, awesome! Couldn't ask for better service. The pad itself is well handy as you don't need a stand and fits to the drum quickly and easily, think I'll buy another one!!

Positives: a useful piece of kit that I have used to extend my V-drums for a closed hi-hat trigger pad or cowbell pad etc. It has a small footprint and fits in well with the kit. It has good crosstalk cancellation abilities. For a Roland trigger it is one of the cheaper options - but see negatives below. Negatives: It is nowhere near as sensitive as an equivalent rubber cymbal pad - you can't play this pad quietly. If you need the sensitivity save up your pennies and buy a proper pad. Also, it seems as though I had to bed my pad in - it would fail to trigger sometimes and I had to massage the rubber on the pad to get it to trigger again - this still happens very now and again especially if you leave the kit for a while - but it is improving.

I really like this instrument. I use it with my percussion pad. Great addition to my set up and really good quality, as always with Roland stuff.

Does't work after few week. Want to send the item back . But Amazon hide the return button away. I don't know what to do . Very upsetting.

It’s a Roland product so that means it’s a top tier product. Works perfectly with a non-Roland brain. This product was shipped by carrier pigeon from Japan. It was my own fault for not investigating the 3rd party. Foolishly assumed North America at the least. Can’t rate them poorly as I was the one who missed the detail. Once again, carrier pigeons...

Ein ideales Trigger-Pad für das A-/E-Drumset. Überall einsetzbar, entweder an der Snare oder den Toms. Aber auch unabhängig an jeder L-Halterung. Bei dem Anbringen an der Snare sollte man allerdings die Trigger-Parameter soweit verändern, dass dieses PAD bei einem Rim-Schlag nicht mittriggert, sonst gibt es je nach Einstellung unerwünschte Töne. Ansonsten bin ich von diesem PAD begeistert.

Used with an old ddrum 4SE. Works as expected. Used it with a TS cable, as original TRS cable was... chintzy and too short. TS cable (standard instrument cable) worked perfectly, as the 4SE is a "mono" (TS) jack. Used with standard mount on my 3rd rack tom (14"), and didn't have a chance to try the other mount that is included.

Expensive. The package looks like old stock. I purchased this to primarily use it as ext trigger for SPD 30
