I know it costs a lot but if you need to do what it is built for it is wonderful. I used it to align my cnc vertical axis. It is now aligned much better than it was before.

Alignment of the machining centers & travelling column of the machines is essential for product quality and reliability of the machining process. We've been using the Granite blocks and dial indicators for our jobs for the past ten years. This products simplified our daily jobs. Furthermore, we combined our vertical digital level with the horizontal version for the perpendicular alignment for the machine head versus the machine table top and I was able to complete the jobs in less than 20 minutes, rather than hours previously.

Granit Master Blocks are frequently too small and almost always too heavy. After discovering this vertical digital level, my milling head vertical travelling column parallelism movement check was sped up by more than 50%.
