Honestly, I wanted to make some big vegan chocolate chip cookies and needed baking soda. I bought the cheapest one I could find and the cookies are fantastic. If they were more fantastic, I could never make them again. As it is the ones I have made are addictive. It is official. So do not buy this if you want your food to come out beautifully. Buy this if you want your stuff to be fabulous and delicious.

Baking soda is sodium bicarbonate. No matter what name brand you get, it's sodium bicarbonate. So why pay more for a name brand when you can get it 33% cheaper? Here on Amazon, I can get a 16 ounce box of baking soda for 95 cents, where at Safeway it's $1.49 for Arm and Hammer, and it's $1.29 for their house brand. Works just as well.

Bought a lot of this when it was on sale so I could use it on my cast Iron pans to clean it, I keep it in a big tub for it, it works wonders! Baking soda + lime juice to clean peanut oil to season!

It's standard baking soda. I use it a lot in my garden and potted plants, as well as to keep moss from growing on my brick patio and other items. I use it in the pool to increase the PH. Also good around the house for cleaning without buying harse scouring powders. It can be used in the laundry to remove the smell in clothes, cleans everything from ceilings to floors without a leftover residue. I don't need to pay for perfumy smells. It's nothing fancy, but it works.

Those of you saying there was no leakage... we know you're lyin! 🤣 Of course if it's sitting up and not moving around, you're good. But when it's in the back of a delivery truck... that box is getting tossed around.The baking soda was packed in one of those thicker recyclable paper package style. Everything was coated in it. Luckily, the stuff I ordered with it was easy to wipe off. It should be wrapped in something to contain the stuff getting on other items.As far as the product. It's baking soda. No clumps. Good price.
