U-Pol TRAG/10 High Performance Tack Cloth, Set of 10

A bit on the small side, I would have like it to have been just one really large cloth. However, it does the job well, I damp dust first because I have pets and need to deal with bits of fur and dander. Having done that, I then very quickly go over the surfaces with a few of these bunched up to get rid of any residue that is left behind. A lot of people have complained that these leave a sticky residue behind when used. This is not a fault of the cloth, it's simply that the person is rubbing too hard with them. A really light touch is what is needed, let the tackiness of the cloth do the work. Also, these cloths are not supposed to be used for removing smears and stains so don't expect them to do that. They are purely dust removing cloths.

Work well sticky enough without being too much, individually wrapped is a bonus, good size and good value.

Used for wiping dust of skirting and a door pre paint. Very good as used by car sprayers which is where I heard of tac cloths. One cloth was still sticky after wiping woodwork in a large room.

First things first. I've noticed people saying that these leave a residue. They do not leave a residue if used properly. They are not intended to wipe away marks, finger marks etc using firm pressure, you only need very light contact. They are used to remove dust from panels, woodwork etc before painting, that is all. If you need to remove marks, use a duster and some polish. Lastly, noted people say that they are too small, they open out before use and quite big. Just gather it up again and lightly wipe over like you would a polishing cloth. These do a great job when used properly.

The item arrived ahead of the projected delivery date ( which was useful ) adequtely packed and in one piece,tried these out on a door I've just painted,, worked perfectly removing all those tiny bits of dust / fluff which you can't see but allways show up on the finished item in fact I'm pretty sure you could use these a few times if you put them in a re-sealable bag between uses, a good buy, worth the money, reccomended !

Not the best you get what you pay for

I bought these after seeing a lot of websites recommend such a product before gloss painting. Normally I would just wipe the surface with a microfibre but I thought I would try these. They have, naturally, a tacky feel to them which picks up any dust from the surface. I wiped, then painted. The next day the gloss paint felt flawless - very smooth, no bumps, just as it should be. Very pleased. The clothes are individually wrapped and I am sure could be reused a few times.
