Had a clock that was special to me but the hands were getting loose and it had stopped keeping time. Tried replacing batteries and tightening the hands but it did not help. Hated to pull the original out and replace it but didn't want to get rid of clock. I hate clocks that don't keep time. This kit fixed it right up and now when I look at it, the time is right. Used the original hands though but saved the ones in this kit.

My favorite clock stopped working and I tried changing batteries but still nothing. I just couldn't throw it away, then I found this kit. VERY easy to install, several different hand styles and lengths. Now it works perfectly with new shiny black hands, even has a "seconds" hand never had that before. Highly recommend

OK packaging for the fragile clock hands, but inside the bag all of them were pristine except one of the minute hands which was bent. Obviously bent before it was even placed in the bag they all came in. Not terribly damaged and easy to flatten out to almost new, but odd that all the rest were perfect, even the super thin second hands. No conclusion on the clock's ability to keep proper time yet.Update, keeping proper time.

Easy to install, works and is attractive.

The hands for this movement and the faceplate it was to be installed on were two long. Even it comes with two sets, they were identical in length making them too long for the clock. Discovered only after installation. A long and short set of hands would have been better. I only found this out after complete installation. The battery was extremely, I mean extremely difficult to insert. After I finally got it inserted into the clock, I went to set the time and I found the small wheel had dislodged and could not be reinstalled. Again, this was post installation of the movement. Most likely the adjustment wheel came off because I had to “armstrong” the battery in. I could not get the wheel to stay in afterwards. Although it is not expensive, I would not buy it again. Returning for credit and will purchase something more expensive but better quality

Easy to insert and working great

i am changing my review. i found out that you have to push down firmly on the hour hand to get it to latch onto the shaft. its difficult because the hands are very thin, so you have to be careful not to bend the hand as you push down.the instructions don't tell you to push down on it until it locks in place. the hands are very thin and same with the second hand, the pin needs to be pushed firmly to connect to the shaft. once i got the hands installed, and put the battery in, the clock mechanism works and seems to be accurately keeping time.

It's still keeping perfect time.
