[Featured Vented Slim Jim]

I bought one of these to use as a slimline bin for plastic recycling in my kitchen. It is so useful, as it is almost as tall as the worktops, and yet nice and narrow so takes up very little space. It holds a massive volume. Takes a full size black bin liner and holds a lot more volume than a normal kitchen bin would. The method it has for holding the bin liner in place is great- very easy to use. I’m using mine without a lid as I’m only putting clean recyling into it and it’s just so easy to use in this way. Very good quality, and actually looks pretty nice too. I had been considering a stainless steel bin that would have been 4 times this price, so this is a real bargain.

I bought this to use on our back deck as a recycle bin for bottles and cans. I got the can in beige and the hinged lid in black (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001GXG2F2?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details) and together they do not look like a recycle or garbage can at all. It blends in well next to my cream-colored house and black bbq cover. The hinged lid is well worth the extra cost. It attaches securely to the can holding the garbage bag in place and the lid even snaps shut, so no critters can get into it. The lid attaches so securely to the can that rather than pry it off every time it needs to be emptied, I just pick up the whole thing and dump it into my big recycle can. It's amazingly lightweight for such a sturdy can. It wipes down nicely too. I'm very pleased with this purchase.

Yeah, I said bin. These trash cans are absolutely perfect for our needs. We live in a small cabin, with a small kitchen, and have been struggling with the garbage situation since we moved in....until now. I used to have the wall mounted kind that uses recycled plastic grocery store bags. I liked those a lot, and will continue to use them to hold newspaper for the wood burning stove, but they're teeny tiny compared to these bad boys....plural. I actually, finally have room for trash AND recycling. And the height is perfect for dragging over to the counter or sink and sweeping crumbs into or peeling carrots into. I've worked in kitchens for most of my life and can say that these are equal to the quality of any commercial bins I've used. And the vents for easy bag release really do work. Man, you know I'm getting old when I'm this excited about a garbage can....

Love this product. It is very sturdy plastic yet reasonably lightweight, space-saving and holds a good amount of recyclables. I used to use a regular trash can and invariably ended up with an overflowing 13-gallon garbage bag sitting on the kitchen floor waiting to be filled before being disposing of; quite unsightly and annoying. Not anymore! With this one I don't need to use garbage bags, though I do wash cans before throwing them in there so they don't mess up the inside of this trash can. If you want to use bags still, the borders around the top have areas to secure the garbage bags so they won't end up falling inside the trash can, pulled down by the weight of the recyclables. I'm thrilled with the quality of product and its design, and hope to have it for a loooong time to come. Great purchase!

I was super excited to get the two cans for setting up my recycle center on the back deck. The only caveat is the bags are a little tricky. I already had 30- gallon bags, and while "tall" enough, it's not wide enough for the opening. I will repurpose those and bought some 55 gal instead and they work good, just hang down a bit. Also the holes that allow you to catch the corner of bags still does not work on both sides even with the 55 gal bag. But overall, I am very happy with
