Adapting optical to electric wires is easy with this. I was skeptical, but my tv now talks to a 20 year old Bose surround sound system, no problem. And the price was reasonable, too!

Works as intended. There were no issues and it converted a digital signal to RCA for an older soundbar.

Works great. The only issue is that the volume from the TV is a little lower than the other receiver inputs (radio etc). I just need to remember to turn the volume on the receiver down before switching to the radio, or else it initially comes on a little louder then I prefer. A volume adjustment on the converter would be nice, but it is not a big problem

We have a vintage stereo receiver and this digital to analog converter, was easy to hook up and the directions got it up and working quickly. Now we can listen to our tv through the stereo with our 4 speakers.

This little product quickly and easily solved my problem -- how to connect a new Vizio 32" smart TV to my older, analog audio system that provides theater sound to my room. It took about 3 minutes to hook it up and the sound quality is great. Best of all, among the limited outputs on my TV, there's a USB port that provides the needed power to this device (and the cable is provided). It baffles me that none of the stores in my area seem to sell products like this. Thank you!

This thing didn’t work. Hooked it up and a ton of buzz. I ended up hooking up to the headphone jack out to my patio speakers. 3.5 to RCA is a much better choice with modern TV’s to receiver
