The original creator of this test kit has the tests listed for $200 so I thought I was getting a steal only paying $30. Turns out once you submit the dna collections to the company they refuse to do the testing until you pay the remaining $170. Not worth the money obviously wasted $30 on it.

Bought this for $20 didn’t realize it would cost $270 on top of that just to send it to the lab. now my $20 was wasted because i’m definitely not going to pay that much to send to the lab

My wife Tanya Rhodes ordered this to take DNA after finding out she had half siblings after 50 years! I ordered the kit and it arrived 2 days later as promised. The instructions were very easy to understand and a stamped addressed envelope was provided to return to Affinity. I sent the kit back on Monday 24th and received an email on July 25th to say they had received it and would have results by Aug 3rd. Well, I received them early on August 1st and a lovely email from Mark Purseglove just checking to see if I had received the report. One thing I really like about Affinity and buying it on Amazon was, you are charged one fee and zero additional fees, which isn't the case with other DNA kits online. I would highly recommend this product for ease of use, clear concise instructions, turn around time and the great customer service from Mark.

They are very clever, you buy this pack and then they send it with no information on how much it costs to get processed. It says on their website that DNA testing is £99 but when you look at the siblings one it’s £199 and a grandparent one is nearly £250! Very deceiving. You could do the sample send it off and then get the big bill! 😡

Results were a bit of a surprise but otherwise well made, easy to use.
