Excellent
A really nice piece of kit. Well made and a perfect fit. Comes with everything including a black plastic receiver box that fits behind the striker plate, all screws and a very sensible tool to swap the latch itself from right to left hand door etc. Super buy and great price.

Great bathroom lock.
Measured old one and found this lock to be the same. Easy to fit and the latch will turn round. Need to chisel out some of the door frame but it looks great when done.

Easy to fit as replacement for faulty lock
Took a little time to line up properly but very pleased with end result as a replacement for old locking mechanism.

Perfect replacement fit
Bought to replace an old unit that had developed a fault, it fitted exactly with no modification required.

It is not a key-twist lockable internal door lock.
I bought this because I broke an existing internal door-lock and I thought that this would exactly fit my current fitted door-locks. I'm a DIY amateur so I didn't want to have to re-chisel my door to fix a new non-standard door-lock. Yes, I was right, it fits exactly but .... where is the key slot? How do I put a key into this lock?? Yes, it does exactly what the picture shows... but I didn't know that "BATHROOM LOCK" means, 'doesn't accept keys'.

Not a straight swap out
I purchased one of these mechanisms for a failed downstairs WC door a couple of years ago from Amazon, it was a straight swap with no issues. With this in mind I searched me previous purchase history and re-ordered, this time for one of the upstairs bathrooms, exactly the same doors and mechanism as the previous. Unfortunately this is now slightly different and the locking mechanism sits lower than before, the striker plate is also larger. This resulted in having to modify the door frame and chisel out the existing section. A 5 minute job turned into an hours work. It may be worth purchasing alternatives and lining them up before getting to the point I did.
