The VM30 is a Wireless Shotgun microphone, the time I've had with it has been a little over a week now, and I've been using it to live stream to see it's functionalities, the wireless part is my favorite, knowing i don't have to deal with wires on my microphone when setting it up on a boom. Another neat feature I love when using it is the safety track it has(sadly you do need it to be wired for this function) knowing i won't have any crazy clipping in my audio. While on the note of safety, it provides a 75-150hz Filter to improve on audio that has a lot of background noise to cut out. The battery life on the VM30 is long enough to record for a whole session, and most USB-C chargers/batteries can provide energy for it to keep going on for the day, and if you have it wired with your camera it can last even longer. Such an insane little microphone that provides an incredible amount of time to record. You would probably change the battery on your camera before this in all honesty! Fairly easy to setup with the transmitter, you can just clip that in on your shoemount or anywhere else if you like and plug in the 3.5mm or usbc to your computer if you wanna use it that way, it has many forms and connections that works with it. The accessories they provide for what you pay for is so nice, you get a nice carrying case with lots of protection inside and a mesh holder for the rest of the accessories, two types of windscreen protection and different types of connections to plug into to record off cameras, pc, phones, etc.

I ordered this and didn't read the Q&A section of the description close enough to truly understand what it meant. The microphone was okay at first but climbed to 5-Star based on a few things. Thanks to YouTuber Mark Wiemels for reminding his viewers this can record the same microphone to two separate cameras at the same time. I just did a quick test of Comica's claims of 3 recorded sources at once by recording my Sony ZV1-Mk2 with the receiver, Canon M6-Mk2 with a TRS extension cable, and my Pixel 7 Pro using the BlackMagic Camera app and the included USB C to C cable. That was the same test scene with three separate cameras all capturing the same audio source. I use Davinci Resolve Studio for editing Wheelchair Repair How-to videos, but at work we use TechSmith Camtasia. Camtasia does not have audio sync and selecting one audio track from multiple camera video. Now it won't matter. All of the videos sound nearly identical. Just don't forget to adjust gain on both the microphone body and the receiver. I'm thinking of hooking this up to my employer's camera when I need to record and add some b-roll, plus use the USB C to my phone to record a back up audio track in case the wireless goes out. Pros: -Solid build quality -Nice case with excellent extras. The shock mount worked very well. -Recording to 3 separate devices (Receiver, 3.5mm, and USB C) at the same time. -Low cut filter works well. High Freq Boost added clarity when using the foam cover. -USB C to Windows PC actually had volume unlike the Deity V-Mic D4 (D4 also works well on Android and iOS devices though) -Internal rechargeable battery -Wireless mic can be synced to the BoomX-D receiver. (I have not tried this yet.) Cons: -Internal rechargeable battery. If not using the USB C port you may be able to power the microphone with a battery pack. The battery will wear down over time, but the body is screwed together so I'm hoping it can be replaced when worn) -Gain needs to be set on the microphone with the dial, and the receiver when using wireless. I forgot this on my first test but the audio luckily wasn't clipped. -No 32 bit Float or internal recording. So recording to one of the other 2 inputs when using wireless is important for redundancy due to possible dropped signal. Gain needs to be set on all devices. I am loving this so far and looking forward to making more content with it and spreading the word to other creators and corporate training teams.

Ce micro est absolument incroyable ! la qualité du son est très bonne ! le micro s'éteint et s'allume automatiquement lorsque il est branché ou non à une source (ordinateurs, caméra etc.). J'avais le Mictrak M3 juste avant (qui est très nul) et avec le Comica il n'y a pas photo ! C''st un produit parfait ! Merci encore !
