Truvativ Howitzer XR Bottom Bracket

Rock solid, just like it's meant to be. I had to buy this because I picked up a Holzfeller crank without realizing you HAVE to use this BB. I then realized I needed the tool to torque it properly. I said screw it, I'm not pay another $20 for a socket. I wrapped each cup with electrical tape and used a pipe wrench. Worked great.

These have a proprietary bearing size that is not replaceable, but the entire bottom bracket is less expensive than a set of high quality bearings which makes it disposable I guess.My first one lasted 9 years and early on in its life was ridden for several miles completely submerged in water. It was definitely time to be replaced, but 7,500 miles with no mainenance and the consitions it was used in make high quality to me.One last note, this is the only crank interface I have used to date that the crank arms didn't come loose on, ever.Happy with my purchase.

I love how much more durible this seems to be rather than the crap Walmart had the company install on the bicycle Which I had purchased from them. Istall was simple for myself (experienced mechanically). Action has been very smooth. I have not had any creaks. One wouls want to be sure to have a compatible crankset to fit this. The cranks fittin on square shanks will not work.

This doesn't feel like a very smooth bottom bracket. Assembly was easy and the instructions were pretty clear about how many and where to put the shims.

Love this bottom bracket design. I installed it with in minutes. Haven't ridden on it yet. I will once my cranks and chain ring arrive!

This is a very high quality, well designed part. The spline design is the most durable available, and the sealed bearings still spin smoothly even after going through mud and getting washed with a hose.

our original bottom bracket had stripped the threads that hold the pedal on.Found this one the same, it shipped quick and was easy to put in. Bike is up and running again.

Only bought due to it being the on bb my cranks will work on. Had bearing issues withing the first 2 weeks. Now bearing is tight and rough and nearly unusable. Disappointed as I really love sram products. Sent an email to sram directly about bearing replacement as I have barely used my bike and I work in a bike shop so it was unsalted correctly. A little distracting.

und kann auch mit Shimano-Hollowtech-Werkzeug eingebaut werden. Habe es zusammen mit der passenden Kurbel an einem alten Stahlrahmen mit 68er BSA-Gewinde verbaut. Spacer werden mitgeliefert. Vorsicht - man muss alle drei auf ein 68er verbauen. Hatte es erst mit 2 gemacht, da war es aber locker. Durch die drei Spacer kann man aber auch noch die Kettenlinie etwas variieren.

Movimento centrale di livello costruttivo superiore alla media,differisce dal colore in mostrato in foto, in quanto quello che mi è arrivato ha le calotte nere. Progettato con cuscinetti maggiorati, si dimostra scorrevolissimo e robusto, non è un campione di leggerezza, ma su segmenti di MTB come bici enduro front (tipo 27.5+) o bike full all mountain, la leggerezza della bike è più in secondo piano rispetto alla categoria cross country.Consigliato.
