Naturally Flavored Rival Whey - Pure Chocolate 2lb

This protein mixes extremely smooth and tastes great. Probably my favorite vanilla to date. I have mixed with skim, 2% as well as sweetened and unsweetened almond milk and the taste is excellent. Definitely worth a try if you are looking for a good natural vanilla protein.

I have bought this protein powder a couple times, and I like the chocolate flavor. It doesn't have any weird aftertaste to me. I like that it has natural ingredients and no artificial sweeteners. The price is better than most, but I ended up buying a different brand that was cheaper and similar in quality (I now buy the Ascent brand from Costco). There is certainly nothing wrong with this one though, and if it is your most convenient and budget-friendly option, I would definitely recommend it! It seems to dissolve fine and the texture is good.

I started drinking protein shakes after my workouts over a year ago. I've tried several brands, and while I was really happy with the one I was using, it tasted good, had 30g of protein, but the ingredients were not good and potentially harmful. I searched and found this brand, which had about half of the ingredients list as my previous kind had, the only thing questionable is the "natural flavors". I've been trying it for a few days and experimenting. I typically blend with water and ice. I'm not in love with the flavor by itself. It's definitely drinkable but not the best. My favorite thing is adding a tablespoon or so of organic peanut butter. That seems to cut the weird flavor and I enjoy it a lot more. I think I will repurchase again just because it's a better option. It's more than I want to spend, and has less protein than I would like, but overall it's not bad and I feel it's a better choice!

It's easy to digest i have a bad stomach so it's easy for me to tell. Good quality for the price and taste is good. Add some PBfit for a really tasty shake.

This is a great protein drink. It is high in protein and low in carbs and sodium, it fits right in with my keto lifestyle. It tastes great and it completely dissolves in a cold glass of water. I drink one in the morning and keep an already shook up shake in my cooler for later in the day and I just shake it up again with no compromise to taste or texture. Both my husband and I drink it twice a day and it is easy to setup a subscription for it so that you don’t run out unexpectedly. Great product!

I don’t normally like the taste of stevia or monk fruit AT ALL, but with both the chocolate flavor, and the vanilla flavor, you don’t get that weird aftertaste. You taste a tiny bit of the sweetness, but it’s not artificial tasting or overbearing. It’s actually quite tasty! I also really like the consistency/texture. In just a few shakes it comes out creamy and smooth. No clumps or chalkiness. I like the chocolate flavor by itself with just water, it reminds me of slim fast a little bit, which I always thought tasted kinda good. For the vanilla flavor, I like to mix it with orange juice and it tastes just like an Orange Julius! Super yummy. I have yet to try mixing these in smoothies but I’m sure they’d taste great. I’m really glad I didn’t waste money on something that tasted like 💩! These I actually look forward to drinking after my workouts (or if I’m just wanting a quick protein-dense snack).

Initially decided to try this brand's protein powder last year because of the Naturally Flavored Protein line. I found their natural ingredients protein powders to taste pretty good the several times I purchased the last year; however as a result of the pricing increase over the past few months, decided to try out some other brands, and then came back and decided to give their Naturally & Artificially flavored/sweetened protein line a try. I'm not sure whether the partially natural flavored protein powder just tastes better/sweeter or what, but I just recently decided to purchase a bag of the 'Pure Chocolate' naturally flavored protein powder and I'm a bit disappointed with the lack of sweetness, I'm not sure whether they decided to reformulate their recipe and reduce the amount of sweetener or what; I typically am excited and look forward to having a protein shake as it typically tastes like a treat, unfortunately doesn't seem to be the case with the batch I got this time around.. Not sure if i'll be reordering.

I like this protein powder for the ingredients list. The salted caramel flavor isn't overwhelming and great for mixing into plain Greek yogurt. Doesn't mix as well in liquid (warm or cold) but most powders don't so expectations weren't high. Worth it to get a high protein powder without artificial sweeteners like sucralose or aspartame. I have purchased several times and recommended to family members.
