I wasn't sure what to expect at this mid-range price level, but I need a good flashlight for walking on the beach after dark and for general use. It needed to be study and bright and the battery long lasting. This flashlight is great, it blasted my expectations out of this world. It is a little heavy, so it is robust and it has a nice strap to put around the wrist so you wont drop it. The super bright setting covers a good range, very impressive and then the two dimmer settings are good for general use. The dimmest of the three would be good for fishing I expect. It has a strobe setting, which could be fun for lat night beach parties or picnics, but not a lot of use for anything else. However, what is useful is the emergency sos setting, which uses morse code for S-O-S on repeat without you having to do anything. This will be great in an emergency and could be a true life saver in certain circumstances. The feel and build of this torch, flashlight is surprisingly good and Im impressed with the quality.

Very bright. Holds charge well

I have used this torch for over a year now as a security officer and it is perfect and still going strong. Very sturdy it has a telescopic function that turns the highest setting into a powerful search light. My collegues request to borrow it on certain patrols. The only cons are it takes a long time to reach fully charged and the hand strap connection ( supplied ) is a bit flimsy , I replaced it recently with a keychain ring. I highly recommend this product.

Solid, quality feel, has a rechargeable battery plus an alternative cradle for three AAA batteries. The rechargeable battery failed to recharge which is quite common for these small cheaply made electronics. Suggest you discard any such rechargeable battery on safety grounds, after it failed to charge the battery compartment had a faint burned chemical smell, so use the AAA disposable battery option. In most cases this sort of product will eventually fail to charge, but rarely it may cause a fire either through a short circuit during charging or through overheating during use. I think we are now all learning that even well sourced rechargeable batteries should be treated with caution. The 180,000 is nonsense and, as has been said elsewhere in this review section, Amazon ought to intervene here, for example in the UK this contravenes the Trades Descriptions Act 1968. The zoom function is of limited use as it just produces a more focused, concentrated beam but dimmer. Also could do with a battery level indicator. But otherwise this is an excellent torch, sturdy, quality feel, feels well built and has a very bright beam at a median price.

Brightest on the market tried so many this is the one! Buy it you won’t regret it only problem battery lasts an hour on full brightness use but ideal to carry spares

I have used this torch once since I bought it and it has slowly died and is not working again. I have charged it but still no joy. Works for seconds and dies.

This torch is unbelievably powerful ,the range really long and the light beam doesn't seem to get poor,great performance and versatility, there are different modes and levels of the light setting and also once the head is pulled forward the light gets centered for more of a point use. Charging is so simple as I use my phones charger. Heavy and solid. Not your usual cheaply made torch basically

For a small torch this is amazing. It illuminates the garden at night really well. Great value for money and much less bulky than most powerful torches. Love the fact that you can use batteries or charge it so it is very adaptable.
