I'd like to start by saying I am very much not a matcha expert and have only ever had it in mochi or sweetened boba before, so if you're looking for an in-depth flavour review, this isn't the review for you!This set was delivered nice and fast (quicker than Amazon predicted), and had lots of smiley faces on the package, which made me smile :) It comes with a little fruit and nut bar, too, which was a lovely touch! Everything looks very well designed and professional, and it was very securely put in a box, so nothing was damaged or missing. Although it is worth noting that it doesn't come with the whisk holder, as some of the photos show.The bowl and utensils are nice and minimalistic, and the matcha tin itself is also very easy to open, with both a screw lid and a can-style seal so the tea isn't compromised.The tea itself is the exact vibrant green that the photos show, and it's very smooth, with no lumps (using the provided whisk, that is). It's not too bitter either, although as I am new to drinking green tea (I have been drinking British black tea with no milk for the past few years) and will need to adjust to the flavour a bit! :) Although, it definitely tastes less grassy and more mellow than I was expecting, considering I've never had ceremonial grade matcha before! I haven't tried it with anything but hot water yet, but I am definitely going to try to make a latte with it, and try different milks to compliment the flavour profile, as I'm sure it will taste better than the cheaper matcha used in big-brand beverages.All round, very happy with it!

Had an issue where the spoon did not arrive with the product, the seller responded instantly to send one over. The set was given as a gift to my mum and as a tea-lover, she thoroughly enjoyed the tea and the tea set.
