Very useful budget DTI
Very useful DTI at an excellent price. I have made an adaptor to mount it to indicate cross slide movement on my Taig-Peatol model engineering lathe. I intend to get some more to do the other axes too. It makes accurate machining much easier.

Pleasantly surprised great for the price well pleased.
Can't fault it even comes with spare battery, like the box aswell.

Good value, but screws in back too small
Good value and quality, and works well. The only problem is that to attach the clamping back you have to unscrew the flat back and the cross head screws are incredibly small. So small I didn’t have a screwdriver that fitted ! and you won’t either. I had to use double sided tape.

A really good DTI
The gauge is much better quality than I was expecting. No problems zeroing the scale or changing from imperial to metric. I bought it for use on a lathe and it has just the right amount of travel. I've only been using it a few weeks but it remains accurate in terms of repeatability ie, zeroing the scale allowing it to measure and the scale returning precisely to zero, or occasionally +\-0.0005". It's a real gem for the price!
