I bought this apron for wheel throwing and overall it has been great. The coverage is solid and the split leg design makes it way easier to work without bunching or getting tangled. The material is sturdy and waterproof so clay and slip wipe right off instead of soaking through. It does not solve every mess though. Sometimes the wheel still gets a little chaotic and I end up with clay on the inside of my legs. A crotch flap would make a huge difference and keep everything cleaner during those extra messy sessions. It is not a deal breaker but it would make the design even better. The apron is comfortable, easy to adjust, and it stays in place while working. Cleaning it is simple. I rinse it off and hang it up and it dries fast without staining. Overall it is a really helpful apron for pottery, wheel throwing, painting, or any messy work. With one small design tweak it would be perfect. I would still buy it again.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this apron! I do use a extra towel on my knee when I'm throwing at the wheels. When I open my legs some of my actual clothes could get exposed, though it's a matter of rearranging when I sit. Way better then a normal apron without the legs separating. It's also long, water repellent, covers my chest ( and yah gurl has chest lol). durable, washable, thick, adjustable and valuable! Its a buy it vibe.

I bought this for my first pottery class, it’s pretty great - waterproof, washes beautifully but make sure to hang it dry. I’d give it 5 stars but it’s waaaaay too big for me (I’m 4’11”)

Protects my clothes when throwing on the wheel.

Quality stitching. The surface is water repellent, though i scotch gaurded it anyway before i used it. The scotchgaurd took well. Comfortable and good fit.

It works fine and gets the job done. Pretty easy to clean - I just tossed it in the wash. I definitely found myself wishing it had better pockets, though. So, I didn't find it ideal for working in a pottery studio when I'm handling so many tools at once. The split in the front was good in theory but I didn't find it super helpful for staying clean. I imagine it would be more useful as a way to flash your crotch without hassling with a zipper. So, if thats your thing, then I say go for it!

Bought this for my husband as it is longer and protects better than they have at the clay studio. It is easy to put on and to tie around his ankles.

I love my apron! It saves my clothes from getting mucky in the studio and I just sponge it off when done. If I was to be picky, the straps around the waist could be a bit longer and the leg bits sewn on ever so slightly inwards so that when you sit they don’t pull to the side. But that’s being picky. This apron really does the trick and at a very good price too!

This apron works very well to keep my husband relatively clean when his is throwing on the wheel. When it’s time to wash it, I simply hose it down with a hose, and let it dry.
