Great foe the value
It doesn't seem to charge the fastest which is tough when you first get it as you want to get it going so waiting for the full charge was tough. Once charge getting the wifi was the biggest challenge but with a lot of IOT devices that only support 2.4ghz this is common so just had to turn off the 5ghz radio in my router reset my phone so it and the Dreamebot would be on the same network. Once connected you can turn the 5GHz on both will still see each other. The app could be a little better and something are totally intuitive but once you get the hang of it, things go easier and work fine. I love the live feed, interesting to see yiu house from the floor view lol. I am impressed with how accurate it maps your house and the detail you can see from the radar images on the map and the AI does accurately identify things like my bathroom scale it labeled as such without me telling it. I have also noticed that it is getting smarter and more efficient each cleaning and can see by the 3rd cleaning it is taking less time and the cleaning map history is much more fluid and organized than the first cleaning. Only regret during set up was skipped fast mapping (no vacuum) just to show my girlfriend who is now buying one also so to move it skipped that bit then when fully charged it doesn't seem to offer that option again and didn't want to do a reset and have to go thru network set up again. So first cleaning and mapping was slow and took 99 minutes. Cleaning #2 74 minutes and today cleaning #3 66 minutes and nothing has change or was blocking it so it is definitely improving and getting smarter.

LIDAR Capability And Remote Camera View Included
Dreametech D10s Plus Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo ReviewThis is the fourth Robot vacuum I have purchased after the ones I was using lost support for the app and the respective companies were no longer in business. Thus, I looked for an established name with a good reputation for my next one, and I wanted it to have a camera. The price was good, I purchased it during an Amazon Prime Sale, and at the end of the event it went down in price even further. It has a basic mop and vacuum feature, and the base automatically vacuums out the robot dust receptacle when it returns to the dock. Other models are more sophisticated, with spinning mop brushes for example, and a mop brush cleaning function in the base. As I don’t have much linoleum flooring, the D10s Plus was more than adequate. This is the first Robot Vacuum I have purchased that has LIDAR, and I am very impressed by its capabilities and performance. On first run, it scanned the rooms in my house very quickly. For example, I went to close a door to a room that I wanted it to avoid before it entered, and the robot had already scanned down the hallway to, and inside the the room and mapped it, accurately. My home is about 1100 sq feet, and it completed a cursory scan in under 20 minutes, accurately mapping out obstacles, such as electrical cords, noting them on the map with an appropriate icon. It avoided almost all potentially troublesome obstacles very well and on the first runs got stuck a couple of times, but improved object avoidance ability with time. I have medium pile carpet (0.25”-0.5”, or about 6.35mm-12.7mm), and the robot vacuum traverses and cleans it very well. The Dreametech D10s Plus also has a low profile (3.78”), and can easily fit under furniture to clean.

Mixed Feelings…but I want to say, Probably worth the $$$
Got the dreams 10s Pro.Cons:- Way too much packaging (Amazon)- Application is convoluted and not intuitive.- Dreame tech support does not know how their own product works- Device does NOT know when it’s own catch chamber is full!!! It provides a setting to empty after each “task” or every 2nd or 3rd task.- Fast Mapping is only available upon initial setup. DO THIS FIRST! If you start to use the device without fast mapping, it makes a temporary map that and you really can’t get back to the option of Fast Mapping until delete the temporary map that it creates. If you did not do this and you want to fast map, you’ll need to delete the temp map and start over. It mapped my 2200sq ft home in about 17 minutes.- back to the “auto empty” feature. It is not a very smart device in this regard. It would be far better if they gave you an option of “empty every 10 mins during task” or “empty x times during task”. The fact that this device doesn’t know when it is full is ridiculous. I put it to work the first time…it filled up and just spent 45 minutes pushing around a pile of dirt.In order to get around this lack of functionality, you must create zones. A “zone” is essentially a “task”. It will empty after each “task”. If you have a heavy traffic area, may want to make that it’s own zone so it empties immediately after. Setting up zones and then setting up your schedule of cleaning is essential what makes the bit “smart”. If you don’t do this, it’s pretty dumb.Unfortunately the product support team is unaware of how this device really works and they give you canned responses that do. I thing to allow you to understand what I’ve mentioned above. As a result, I am sure there are some very frustrated buyers who think their device is defective (due to it not “auto emptying” when full.Pros- setup was actually quite easy.- it sucks quite well- application is actually quite useful ONCE you get the hang of it.- imo the device is super quiet. Not at all an annoying level of sound- the “no-go zone” feature is useful since I have stereo and music equipment cables that I need it to ignore.- camera is fun AF- Dogs love it!I give this product 5 stars for its basic duty of vacuuming.I give the company 3 starts for crappy instructions, wonky application, and an ill-informed help desk.4 stars all together.
