Lovely radio cd,only had it recently and love it,it looks nice,sounds great,plenty of bass,it replaces a a ibox tempo all in one radio/ cd that as a pensioner found too complicated to use,so i sold it and bought the Roxel Noir. So glad i bought it,its easy to use and has a lovely tone on both radio and cd,and as i said the unit is nice to look at and suits our living room. Will be purchasing two more one for kitchen and one for bedroom. If youre debating whether to buy the Roxel Noir,i highly recommend it,lovely compact hi fi,will suit whatever room you put it in. Loving listening to my favourite Radio station on the Noir,Boom Radio. Treat yourself,dont hesitate,you'll be so glad you bought this radio/ cd.

I decided to return to CDs after many years and rebuild my collection. Was looking for a small, inexpensive but decent sounding CD player, not bothered about radio. I ordered 3, this being the middle one in terms of power and price. It looks good, works well and sounds decent, nothing mind blowing. I sent the others back and kept this, being powerful enough for loud home listening in a medium sized lounge, clear sounding, and well priced. A little more bass from EQ or a small sub-woofer would have been good, but it's good enough for the price.

Whilst I would not consider myself an audiophile, those lot are incredible anal, I do know good sound when I hear it. I'm a lifelone music fan, have more than a thousand CD's and a good vinyl collection. My main music system has been built up over several years and is pretty special, but I wanted a basic system for my home office. I required a CD player and a DAB radio since I listen to a lot of the talk station and I debated for many hours which system to buy, searching the vertual shelves. I came across this Roxel Noir system and was in two minds - after all, it's going to be cheap with a tiny sound but I thought I'd take the chance - I could always return it and at the price it was worth a punt. The first thing that surprised me is how heavy the unit is out of the box; it certainly doesn't feel nor look cheap. Setting it up is really easy - just put batteries in the remote and plug the bloody thing in. The sound shocked me - there's decent volume here but more importantly the sound produced is rich and deep. I've preset several DAB channels and again the sound coming from the radio is brilliant - listening to a good play on Radio 4 extra this evening and the audio effects were really atmospheric. I'm giving this five stars but I'd give it ten million if I could. Well done Roxel - a great system and a great price. Oh, and it looks great on my office shelves. I've had this device some time now, and thought I'd add to my review. I have now tuned in my fave stations to the presets, both DAB and FM. I've also connected via bluetooth to my phone so I can stream the books from my Audible account to the device and I use it daily. Has my opinion changed? Not really - it's still WOW. This is a brilliqant unit, looks smart in my hoem office and I've now ordered a second one for the bedroom.

A very good hi-fi system that is sold at a very affordable price. I would highly recommend this, as I am very pleased with my purchase.

A great piece of equipment. I downsized from a big hifi to this and I've only had it a day but I'm impressed. Quality is brilliant, size is good. Sound is clear and amazing, to say I've gone from a 145 watt system to 30 Watts I'm impressed. I can connect my turntable to it, phone, USB, cd player on it etc. All in all excellent value for money.

Only use the CD function. The eject function doesn't work on the machine however it does on the remote, can live with that. Quite a pleasant sound. There doesn't appear to be any warranty cover though.

This replaced a model that cost 4 times as much and gave up in 3 years. It was so easy to set up The volume and tone are great. I thoroughly recommend. Such fantastic value.

Reasonable sound for price. Very odd that you cannot choose radio station with the numerical numbers you have preset?? Would like Roxel to explain this.

Unit looks ok and sound is average. Overall very uninspiring.

Arrivé très rapidement et bien emballé. C'est une unité solide et belle, très soignée ! C’était extrêmement simple à mettre en place. Jusqu'à présent, j'ai écouté un CD de musique et un livre audio via Bluetooth et je suis très impressionné par la qualité sonore. Il a un son chaud et profond, de bonnes basses mais aussi clair et net. Les boutons sur le devant sont judicieusement disposés et faciles à voir, tout comme la télécommande. Ce que je préfère, cependant, c'est le bouton de volume. J'en ai tellement marre des équipements qui font monter le volume par crans ne me laissant d'autre choix que d'avoir - par exemple - le volume 8 qui n'est pas assez fort ou le volume 9 qui est trop fort. Le bouton de volume Roxel est fluide, me permettant d'augmenter le volume progressivement jusqu'à mon réglage préféré - parfait ! Hautement recommandé!

Bonne qualité du son. Par contre, malgré une grande antenne métallique je n'arrive pas à capter les stations des radios. Ce n'est pas normal.
