Size down.
I have a couple pairs of these, the first I let Amazon recommend a size and they are big, baggy and rather unflattering lol, so I sized down and they are much better, a little more form fitting and more flattering. Ive been trying to get back to more natural fibers and they are a good value!

Good quality cotton lounge shorts
These are great for a basic pair of cotton lounge shorts! I’ve been swapping my clothes out for cotton rich options and these achieve the goal without breaking the bank! Material thickness is just right, the waist band isn’t too tight to where it digs in (and I’m very particular about waistbands). They are flattering and comfortable enough to be worn for lounging, working out or even running errands. True to size. I initially ordered a medium based on Amazons recommendation but found them to be bigger than I’d like so I reordered a small. I can wear them with or without the waste band folded down. I usually wear a small, 5’3” 139 lbs.

Good fit and comfortable
These are kind of thin and cheap feeling but for the price you get what you pay. Plus, I just bought them to where around the house this isn’t something I would wear out. I will say the Fit is really comfortable and I was surprised that they didn’t feel too tight around my waist, especially since I ordered a medium. I’m 5’ 1” and 155 pounds.

Nice quality for the price
Very soft material. Washed in cold water and warm dryer, no shrinkage. I’m 5’8” 175 lb and usually wear an XL, but the AI suggested XXL. Which I ordered and it’s very roomy but comfortable. I probably could have worn the XL. Nice short lenght, casual, short. Great for wearing around the house and out in the yard. Reasonably priced.

Comfy!
They're comfortable and pockets are always useful. Not really fond of the fact that the tie is white, but it stays covered in my case anyway.

Comfortable and affordable shorts!
I wanted easy-on, easy-off shorts for the beach that were cotton/not synthetic, and these fit the bill perfectly! They are very comfortable, do not trap moisture, and the drawstring waist allows me to crush some beers and still make them fit, hahaha.Are they super trendy? No. But are they comfortable and inexpensive? Yes!
