If the light is turned off will the fan still operate? do you wire this into the electric box?

Yes, there are separate buttons for the light and the fan speeds on the remote. It installs into a normal light fixture box - not sure if a ceiling fan had to be there before though

Can you dim the light with the remote?

It does have three different light modes, but no you can’t dim them

Hi, ceiling fans are only used indoors. If you want to use it outdoors, please make a waterproof protector for it.

Pleasantly surprised!

I’m pleasantly surprised by the power of this fan! The highest speed has significantly cooled down the room. The adjustable lighting is also really nice. Overall great value for the price.

Only blows air directly below of where it’s positioned

It does have a strong wind but I wish it when to the sides, the light is super bright & it does have the option of dining, it says that it was hard to program the control since instructions come In a different language but translate it on google & it should be easy.
