Streetwise Amsterdam Map: Laminated City Center Street Map of Amsterdam, Netherlands (Michelin Streetwise Maps)

I just love these maps for US cities—I’m not always on my phone if I use a quickie map, and these fit in any bag. Laminated for durability, and easy size.I’m traveling around the EU this August, and I bought a Streetwise for London, for Paris, and for Amsterdam. To me, an anxiety-ridden person, the reassurance I get from carrying a small laminated map in an exterior pocket of my bag is hard to overstate. It helps me to stay focused on the trip and not on the phone, too.

Just what we needed for our trip

I like to have a map handy to help me get an overview of the places I want to go in a city and their proximity to one another. This worked out well.

Great product!

Easy to read, laminated, shows all streets, major attractions, transportation routes and stops. Perfect for planning a trip and carrying along on the trip.

I was pleasantly surprised by how compact yet very complete this foldable map is. Nice to have a visual before our trip.

I owned a Manhattan one of these maps and it was fantastic so going to Amsterdam I saw this for sale and bought it. I had to return it for the simple reason that the scale at which they printed the map was such that they included almost every street for a wider area than needed (IMO). As a consequence, they had to use a font size that was very small to label each street, etc. Because it was so small I could hardly read it even with my reading glasses. And, I didn't fee like carrying around a magnifying glass in addition to my glasses. Now, I'm a senior so that probable had something to do with it. If you're young with young eyes it might work.I will say that the map they gave me at the hotel was perfect. It didn't try to cover the same square mileage as this map. So, with a smaller area of coverage, they didn't have print the map in 2 point type and it worked well. Also, the hotel map covered everything the average tourist would want to see.

This map helped us to navigate the city … to make decisions on best areas for pick-up for tours, etc.
