It works great

Not OEM quality but works well & charges faster.

It worked fine for 3-4 months, but then after leaving my computer plugged in all afternoon, it wouldn't turn back on again. Luckily the technicians at my work were able to replace the harddrive. Not realizing the problem was with the Dell Replacement Charger, I charged my repaired laptop overnight, and found it didn't turn on in the morning. Clearly the charger is the problem, but I will have the technicians look at it to confirm.Shortly before the problem started my husband accidently charged the wrong computer with my plug for an hour; I assume this ruined the charger. I would prefer a ruined charger to simply stop working, instead of destroy everything it touches.If there is ANY chance this charger could ever be plugged into an unsanctioned device for ANY length of time DO NOT purchase this charger.

I bought 2 of these power supplies for my Dell laptop and they are absolutely wonderful. The IT department kept giving me under-powered power bricks that always put my laptop on slow charge. So, I decided to look for an inexpensive quality power brick. Found it! I couldn't be more happier. One at the office. One at home. The original power supply I can in my backpack.

Lighter then the original Dell battery, which is nice on the go.

My XPS 9700 needed an extra power adapter, but the official one was too expensive. So I decided to try this one instead. Overall, it works very well. Occasionally, a warning pops up saying it’s not an official charger and may not charge properly, but most of the time it works just fine.
