Easy to learn, fun to master!
This is a great scent training kit for beginners! I have been looking for an indoor game or outdoor challenge for my service dog who is always looking for a job to do when she’s off duty. My dog is already somewhat familiar with scent work, so it only took a few minutes of training inside before she was ready to find the bags throughout our one acre backyard. Took her about 10 minutes to find all 6! She sniffed her little heart out and then came inside panting like she just sprinted a mile.

Great game for my Aussie
We got these as a training tool to tire out our Aussie puppy on rainy days. He figured it out right away, we didn’t have to teach or show him anything. I just walked up to him and let him sniff the sachet, hid it, then said find it. At first he walked around with nose in air, and then would come back to sniff my hand to get scent again. Now he just finds them immediately. It’s really cute to watch him walk around scent tracking, and when he finds them he runs back to us with sachet, very pleased with himself, waiting for treats. I also play with these outside now; I’ll put a bunch of flower pots upside down and trays around the yard. I put him in a stay while I walk around picking up every pot, so he can’t see where I hide it. He always finds it right away. We started using these when he was about 5 months old, and I don’t know if it’s the game or just age (he’s 10 months), but his tracking is amazing now. He has a friend who lives 5 neighborhoods down from us, and if that dog has been out within an hr or so, my pup drags me down to their house. He can also find every bit of rabbit, deer, and goose poop in my neighborhood… which is lovely for me, lol.

Pretty good
I am a little bit confused because all of the sachets smell exactly the same. I sort of thought they would be different scents so the dog can get used to finding different things. Nevertheless, they do have a strong scent, not bad it just smells like herbs, and my dog has been able to find them. I had already taught him to find his toy, by hiding it in a room and then bringing him in and giving him a command to find it. And I had already taught him to sit when he knew where the toy was because sometimes I would put it in a drawer or in a closet. So we have had a little trouble transitioning because at first I wanted to give him his toy as a prize for finding the sachet but every time I told him to find it he would go for the toy in my hand lol. So I am improvising and leaving the toy in the other room. And he is getting it! But I really wanted a bunch of different scents so he could get used to being told to smell something and then going and finding it. But other than that, they work well.

Can hold other things in the bags
Drives my dog crazy and he loves to go out back and search for them and that smell is not so strong it fills the house when we use it inside.

Really useful for beginners. Easy to learn from the small book. Easy for dogs to play with.
Good product for beginners. I like the small book and how they explain the exercises. My dog known already but it was fun to react the very beginning. The 6 pockets with scent really good quality. The smell is strong. I wish they could have more than one kind of scent. I recommend.

Fun way to engage your pup
I wanted an option to stimulate my dog when weather isn't favorable. I started with one scent packet and dinner. I 1st started tossing in the middle or the room and rewarded with dinner as soon as my dog engaged. He now is up to 4 at a time and gets very excited when I say go find it. I stuff those in changing areas and he is very accomplished when he finds those. So much so that he yanks and tosses them towards me. I highly recommend plus the patience through the learning curve.

Great customer service & a good product
I reached out to the seller to ask about ingredients because my dog ate part of one of the packets. I thought I remembered the ingredients from the Amazon listing but wanted to be sure there wasn’t anything else in it. By the way, our dog getting into it like this was completely our issue. The package does say ‘not for ingestion’ and I have always taken them from him immediately but unfortunately the kit had been left on the counter and my dog snatched one when no one was watching. I’d already taken my dog to the ER to induce vomiting to make sure there were no issues (corncob and anise seeds can get stuck in the intestines and cause issues). My dog is fine. The seller immediately got back to me and we had a good discussion about labeling on the packaging to assist dog owners if this happens to them. As far as the product goes, it comes with an instructional booklet to train your dog to touch the scented pouch with their nose. When they do that you reward them. You start with it literally in front of their face, then gradually get farther away. We have a working breed dog that needs both physical and mental challenges everyday to keep him calm and happy. This is another good tool in our tool belt to use when I need to give him an activity in the house especially in the rainy winter. I’m happy with the product and I’ve learned to put it on a high shelf when not in use.

Fantastic, they were easy to train my dog to who had it down within two days. They work well, smell strongly but pleasantly and I can watch him track a scent trail I leave around the house or garden. It comes with a booklet that shows you how to train a dog to scentwork, which I roughly followed and had excellent results. The bags are durable enough and have handled a rough paw or two by my 40kg pup. They were expensive but I honestly think they've been worth the money. This has become a fun way for to spend some brainpower on rainy days.
