These are exactly as advertised, and a good water shoe choice when you need a more substantial sole (sole is still quite flexible, but thicker and heavier than the drugstore water shoes). I would not wear these hiking or anywhere that is rocky, they are too thin and flexible for that. The sole has drainage holes that work very well, and the upper fabric is solid so sand cannot get in the sides (but will through the top of the shoe if submerged). This is an improvement over the mesh style that get tons and tons of sand in them in the surf. The adjustable lacing means they stay on in the water and surf, and I was able to wear them comfortably both barefoot and with heavy neoprene waterproof socks in a cold water situation. There is no internal arch support, they are completely flat inside. I put my 1/2 orthotics inside no problem, so the lack of arch support was not an issue. These are made of a thin synthetic neoprene-like material, so they do absorb water and will need to be dried in the sun completely to avoid the dreaded wet-gear stink (they took about 2.5 hours to dry completely in the tropical sunshine). These are great for Dragonboat, SUP, and kayak paddling where you might need foot protection to get from the parking lot to the water, and they have been nonslip in these situations. I have used upwards of 20 different water shoes over the years, and if these last they will be in the top 3-- they are a bargain at the price. Sizing seems a touch big for women, but not way off. If you are only wearing barefoot and want a snug fit, then maybe go a 1/2 size down. I ordered the same size as my running shoes, and they were a little loose in the forefoot area, which was fine since I do sometimes use them with neoprene socks in cold weather. If I was only using in warm weather, I would have gone smaller. No blisters or spots that rub, but YMMV.

These water shoes are great! There are seven drain holes in the bottom, so when I'm finished loading my Sea-Doo on the trailer to head home, I don't bring a gallon of water into the cab of the truck when I get in to drive off the boat ramp. The shoes are also the most comfortable water shoe I've owned; the soles aren't thick, but the are thick enough to absorb the sharp edges of rocky areas just off the water. I think I'll go back and order a 2d pair.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I wear a US 13D. So I ordered a men's 13.5 size. Received a EU size 47. A little too small. Shoes were mostly comfortable but too narrow and snug. I'll try a 14 and see how it goes.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:It has water proof laces which you need. Ive tried other slip on shoes without laces and got blisters from those. Ive worn them twice so far and no blisters. You can walk around in these like regular shoes. I would defonately buy these again.Fit:Ordered my regular shoe size and it fits perfectly.

Bought these because of the color and style which arrived as expected...Comfortable fit but felt like top of shoe was holding water which was an odd sensation...Main issue was 1st time I tried to tighten the laces the strap disconnected make it no able to tighten... Very disappointing to break before 1st use...
