Why doesn't it come with training wheels?

RoyalBaby believes that training wheels are not the best way for a toddler to learn a two-wheeler. In fact, training wheels will hinder kids' nature to get balancing skills and may lead them to have a hard time taking them off once they get used to it. Are pedals removable?

Yes. They are unattached when the bike arrives in the box. They just screw in with the provided wrench, but you could take them out later if needed.
