Anyway, go into this movie with an open mind and just don’t let the naysayers get to you; form your own opinion. Ezra Miller is amazing as both Barry Allen and the Flash here and it’s a shame his performance is overshadowed by his issues. When Ben Affleck is Batman, he’s actually pretty decent and Gal Gadot is always killing it as Wonder Woman. Ron Livingston and the woman who play Barry’s mom are spectacular here too. The plot of this movie is basically the flashpoint theme that sees Barry trying to correct his mothers death and his father’s innocence but there is a twist on this one that sends Barry into micheal Keatons universe. Speaking of Keaton, he steals the show as Batman as usual. I’ve been a HUGE Keaton Batman fan since I was a kid and this was so nostalgic for me. Fortunately, this was not a letdown at all, the opposite of that, brilliance. It feels like it’s picking up where Batman Returns left off. It was like micheal Keaton hadn’t skipped a beat in 30 years. He stole the show for me but I did love supergirl in this movie and all the kryptononians reprising their roles, especially Zod, I thought micheal Shannon did a .fantastic job. This movie has it all: the wow factor, nostalgia, action, drama, heart, humor, and great story. I watched this over and over, i think it’s a wonderful superhero movie. If you’re into Keatons Batman, don’t miss this, you’ll regret it; it’s out of this world. Also, this is just epic. It’s a shame new leadership dismantled everything, who knows what could have been? Buy this A plus Review: Popcorn Worthy, and Mind Bending - I am a senior citizen, and lifetime comic book collector. I also collect superhero movies. To me, this was a really well-made and ambitious production. I feel this stands at the upper tier of this kind of movie, right next to the FIRST Wonder Woman movie. (NOT that train-wreck, Wonder Woman 1984. It stank.) First, you should know this movie is more enjoyable if you have seen previous DC superhero movies. Also, if you have knowledge of DC publications. And even better, if you are aware of the original source of this Flash time travel story. In the comics, it was called FLASHPOINT PARADOX, and was a multiple issue arc. This story line was so popular, it was made into an animated movie, available on disc. Then the tale was adapted into The Flash TV show as a story arc. DC decided to use this story line and expand it into a full-blown live action movie, with a large collection of surprise star actors. You can enjoy the movie even without this backstory knowledge, but as I said, it just makes it better. Now, the movie itself: MIND BLOWING. If you enjoyed "Everything, Everywhere, All At Once" this will not surprise you with all the multiverse stuff. I got the DVD, because I am still staying out of theaters, but I am glad that a disc is my first viewing. REASON: it is SO MIND BENDING that I had to keep stopping the movie to let my brain cool off, and process what I was seeing. And I mean this in a good way. Just... WOW! Man, a whole universe of DC characters and story lines is packed into this thing. And the acting? Most of it, TOP NOTCH. Ezra Miller was just over-the-top great here. Don't worry about the meltdown he had awhile back. He has pulled it together, and given a world class performance. The Flash we want, is THERE on the screen. I am going from Miller's performance in the Justice League movie a few years back. This is definitely the same Flash, but more mature, and practiced in what he can do. Same quirky personality, and a likable fellow. But now he gets to really shine. For me, one of the best superhero movies ever. But as I said, it is even better if you know a good bit of the DC comics history and shows. I will watch this again... in a couple of days. So... mind bending.

Worthy of Good Tomatoes, Not Rotten
Three Batmen (including the amazing return of Michael Keaton). The Flash. Wonder Woman, in what is likely Gal Gadot's final appearance in this role. Sasha Calle, as Supergirl. A brief appearance by Jason Momoa as Aquaman (watch the film ALL THE WAY through). Multiple Supermen, in various, very brief, no-dialogue cameos. General Zod, played by Michael Shannon, as the villain, in a risk-taking, twisted, dark alternate timeline where our heroes face horrific challenges. If you're in that small cadre of comic book people who are DC fans, this movie is for you. The Flash did not do well theatrically, but as someone who is in that small group of DC fans, I've always felt that the DC franchise, while not as successful as the Marvel universe, has always been the more mature, experimental, and avant-garde of the two franchises. Commercially, DC has suffered mightily because of it. Although, to be fair, as near as I can tell one of the reasons The Flash failed was because of DC fans themselves: many heard that Grant Gustin wasn't in this movie, they despised Ezra Miller, and consequently they didn't bother seeing the film. For shame! Ezra Miller did a superb job in the role, and the entire ensemble cast only enhanced the film; Sasha Calle in particular was a standout as the new Supergirl, and even detractors of the film loved seeing Michael Keaton return. If you did not see The Flash in theaters, give this Blu-Ray release a try! It is a superhero movie for adults, with mature themes and a storyline not reliant on big explosions to carry the day.

Better than expected
No issues at all. Disc's all played as expected. The movie is not that bad. Rather enjoyed it.

Well Told Entertaining Story: Disregard the Nay-Sayers
Yes, great to see Keaton back in the suit (and the plane) but action is balanced with character development. Engaging throughout with fun side variations (like the original 'Back to the Future' Marty McFly of Eric Stoltz never replaced with Michael J Fox). Yes, odd CGI at times but believe that deliberate to ease tension/seriousness of the hospital collapse scene or to illustrate distortion properties of the Speed Force. Very re-watchable.

Better than most DC movies.
This was a flop in the theaters and most of the blame went to Ezra Millers antics away from the film. I’m no fan of his, but he was not the reason this failed. It was great to get Michael Keaton back in the bat suit! I’m nervous about the Ego of James Gunn and his belief that he’s the next Kevin Feige. He already canceled more Michael Keaton Batman and killed Man of Steel 2 for his own version. Been waiting for Man of Steel 2 since the original and they finally had it done and Gunn thinks he knows better. DC should have begged Chris Nolan to take over DCEU or whatever the hell it’s called not a narcissist like Gunn. If Warner gets sold they’ll likely correct this mistake.
