Been running on the same batteries since when I bought it a year ago. I love this garbage can. Probably going to replace my others with this one as well

I’ll never go back to a regular trash can again. The batteries seem to last a while, it’s pretty easy to clean. It’s a durable plastic and I chose black so I do wipe it off regularly. The lid opens easily and quickly, and stays open long enough. The only complaint I have is the switch for the lid is underneath, it would be better if it were on the back.

Contacted the manufacturers because kid did not work upon arrival. They shipped a new lid within a few days and has been working great. It is a beautifully modern trash can with a sleek elegant look, I love it. It’s in an Airbnb apt; hopefully, it endures the wear and tear.

Didn't work right out of the box. After installing the 4 new AA batteries (each measured 1.614 volts w/ digital VOM), switched the on/off button and the LED flashed "0"; the lid tried to close on the back of my hand then popped back to its open position. Each time the switch was turned off/on the LED got dimmer and dimmer. The motion sensor doesn't seem to work no matter where you position yourself when powering on the switch. After the first couple of tries the lid doesn't even try to open again. Then after switching the on/off button several more times, the LED does't even blink anymore. I pulled out the batteries; they were drained down to 1.462 volts. I put in 4 new batteries of a different brand, each measuring 1.61 volts out of the package, did all the same tests again. Got the same results. NOT WORTH THE TIME, AND ESPECIALLY NOT WORTH THE MONEY!!! Oh, and by the way, the manufacturer's "Help desk" hasn't been updated since 2014. Their online-Chat is totally useless. Good luck trying to get anyone from Customer Support.

I loved it at first but the lid function didn’t even last a month.

I purchased this trashcan specifically for the AC adapter because we didn't want to use batteries. It showed that the AC adapter and the trashcan were often purchased together and when they arrived, there was no place to plug in the AC adapter. That is very disappointing. The function of the trashcan and the sensors work well but we are very disappointed in the fact that we can't use the electric plug.

Looks perfect in my kitchen at the end of my island. Easy set up, just batteries and flip the switch on. Zero customization, it’s either open for 5 seconds or closed. Makes cooking very easy. Motion sensors have perfect sensitivity level, my large dog doesn’t set it off when walking by. Would recommend

Love this product! No more touching the lid by hand. Greatly made and at a great price. Would recommend to someone looking for a touchless bin.
