Had to replace upper gasket before I installed on engine. The original was a foam,paper gasket that was squished out when I inspected carb. Had already purchased a carb kit. Replaced gasket and ran perfect,still great 6 weeks later.

Great carburetor works great good kit as long it's installed correctly using the right base gasket the correct vacuum fitting is needed and not over torquing it or installing it anything other than a general Criss-Cross pattern that's where most people go wrong wrong gasket over tighten it the whole wrong order and incorrect vacuum fittings just takes one thing wrong to kill it

Very poor quality. Cheap material. The truck still would not run properly so we opened it to check. The gasket fell apart when the carburetor was opened. Should have returned but only had 30 days and I missed the deadline.

worked out perfect for my off road truck with a 350 chevy. bolted right up and fired right up just like the old quadrajets. ill buy again if needed on another rig.

This Carburetor replaced the original Rochester carburetor on my Dad's 72 Chevrolet Pickup truck. The original carburetor and just worn out over 250,000 miles of use! This is a rebuilt carburetor, but they did a great job of rebuilding it. It fit perfectly on the stock manifold and only required slight adjustments to make it run smooth on the original 350 cubit inch engine.

No kick down connector, no throttle connector. Fuel nut no gasket nor proper gasket seat,internal or external

I'm very pleased so far - I installed the carburetor and the car fired right up. The only adjustment so far that I did was set the idle. I still need to adjust the mixture screws, then we will know for sure. If it all goes as planned, it was a good value.
