I have a lot of experience dealing with battery operated lights and candles, often with less than satisfactory results. Maybe I was just super lucky this time, but this set of battery operated candles are the best I've ever purchased.Battery Life: I received and put batteries in these candles eight weeks ago and have run them on a 4-6 hour timer daily and they are still working. As we get towards what I assume must be nearing the end of the battery life I've had a few weird issues: For example, only one of the candles came on tonight (8 week mark). I assumed it was time to change the batteries but when I went to grab them, they were all on. I don't know what happened but I assume maybe the timer was slightly off on one of the candles and it came on early. A few weeks ago, around the 6 week mark, I also had one candle randomly not come on when the rest did, but when I picked it up and flipped it over to open the battery compartment, it came on and I haven't had any further issues with it. Timer remote is nothing special but is also still working just fine on the initial battery.Sturdy: They seem exceptionally durable for what they are, I admit I unintentionally abused them with some rough handling. These were set on a few small shelves that were adhered to the wall. Unfortunately, the adhesive failed and some of the candles fell quite a distance to the floor. One even broke open and the wiring was exposed, however, nothing must have been actually damaged because after I put it back together, it is still working just fine.Visuals: Flicker effect is good, light quality is good and while I originally had them running just to test them out, I think I'll probably leave them where they are as I really enjoy the look and effect. They aren't super realistic but they are pleasant. Note: When I had them all together before placing them on shelves, one candle was a slightly different color tone than the rest. Normally this kind of thing bothers me a bit but I definitely don't notice it in their current placement and don't consider it an issue.I can certainly see myself purchasing these candles again, I've had a really great experience with them.

I'm pleased with the asthetic of these and was pleasantly surprised to find they can be set on a timer. For months now my little candles will pop on at the same time every evening and stay on until morning. My husband and I lost power in the middle of the night for a few hours recently and these little candles, while not bright, did provide enough light to walk around the room without danger. It had never dawned on me to have them around for that, but they genuinely made it less stressful.

The media could not be loaded. I was initially disappointed to receive flameless candles that were grey and white instead of the amber smoke grey that I had ordered. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the candles. They glow nicely in the dark and create a warm and inviting atmosphere. The candles are smaller than I expected, but they are still a good size for adding a touch of elegance to any room. I was also surprised to find that the candles are made of plastic, not glass. I prefer glass candles, but the plastic candles are still very attractive and seem to be well-made. Overall, I am satisfied with these flameless candles. I used these in the windows of my home...purchased 2 boxes ...they work great! I plan to order a third box tmrw ... remote was easy to use and they look great in the windows of my home...I put a cpl in each window in my home since the windows are so big...they turn on at dusk, stay lit for eight ours and automatically turn off before dawn...

I bought these to use as place settings for an event. They worked out great. They are battery operated and remote controlled. Once you place the batteries in, you can turn all the candles on with the switch on the bottom, leave them switched on and shut off with remote so you can easily turn them on and off without having to switch each one on individually. That was very helpful when placing one on each table. I had about 19 tables. They are thin and come in multiple heights. I love the gray holder. It really gives it more of a vibe than just the clear holders do. I loved these and would purchase again.

These candles do work. I tested one. And you can use a remote to make them flicker or turn them on and off. However, I’m returning them because they look very fake.Cheap plastic and the plastic wicks are higher than the sides of the candle so you see them and they make the candle look more unrealistic.A family member found another set on Amazon for a similar price and the outside of the candles feels and looks like real candles. Recommend those.
