Fantastic portable blender, use it so much , just keep it charged and it’s always ready to go

I make a smoothie for breakfast most mornings using a plug in blender from a well known brand. It was too heavy and bulky to bring when relocating to another city for work for a few months, so I bought this. I was sceptical at first, but reckoned that for £17 I couldn't really go wrong. 7 weeks on, I am pleasantly surprised by how well it works. It crushes ice and frozen fruit really well. It does take a fair bit longer to do this than a plug in blender, but that's to be expected. It makes several smoothies without needing to be charged too. The little ice cube tray is great too. 1 star deducted because it is a bit clunky, so not really 'portable' as you might think. But still, a great little blender for a great price. Recommended.

Great blender, I use for smoothies, usually need a couple of goes to get the consistency I want. Battery last a good while.

I only used a handful of times and now it won’t charge, but I can’t exchange or get a refund as it’s over a year old. Rubbish quality

Being using this everyday for the past months. Great item to blend liquid and powder ( nothing frozen can be put in)Started leaking after a couple months now, quite disappointing

Great item used daily and is portable!

Things I liked: It was quiet, it had great battery life, it blended well, the top opening was wider so it was easier to put stuff in.HOWEVER: There was really poor seal at the bottom of the cup, which meant that food got into the thread. This made the removable cup / screw in bottom element completely redundant because it was impossibly messy to use… Take the base off and you had to clean the bottom of the cup before you could seal it up again because so much gunk got in there. This also meant that it was difficult to clean because there base can’t be submerged in water. Although no food ever leaked, I’ve noticed significant build up around the seal on the base to the point where mould has been developing. I’ve ended up removing the seal from the base in an attempt to properly clean it and discovered that (a) the seal isn’t removable (so it’s now broken, and (b) it’s absolutely disgusting so I wouldn’t want to use it anymore anyway.This works great, but you’ll need to replace it in less than a year because the seal is totally inadequate.

Brilliant item, invaluable for making smoothies in summer ( or during serious illness !). Breaks down easily for cleaning, on/ off switch method works very well. Recommended.
