Super clever solution
This is a great solution to the problem of video cards requiring a zillion extra PCI accessory power plugs just to start up. Face it, modern high quality PSUs have NO problem providing the current needs for a high end video card on the 12V rail with just one or two plugs, but some of the cards out there now require three or more. And at some point you just don't have enough of these PCI accessory plugs to go around. Well, there's a way around that: just plug one of these guys in. On one end is a generic Molex plug — and face it, nothing in your case is using the Molex plugs any more—and on the other end is a PCI accessory plug. Bam, you have your third plug, your video card boots, your machine comes up. Problem solved.
