This product was a total surprise.Well worth the money easy assessment and build to last. I am still impressed .

We bought two for our boys. Not too hard to put together, but make sure on step 9 to put it together on one side before connecting the other side. Took us about 2 1/2 to 3 hours to put together. No dings or dents from delivery. We did put padding on the ladder rungs because of other reviews so that wouldn't be an issue.Our boys love it! The desk has been used everyday since assembled. The shelves are great and help with storing toys, puzzles, and books.

Great value for the money. Seems solid enough, but I put three brackets into wall studs. We have had this up for about 6 months now. We put led’s under the bed so there is light in the cubby. My son loves it. Easy to put together, if you can put together any other furniture, this wasn’t too difficult.The paint is more like a primer and rubs off easily, there were small missing sections of paint, as was described by others. But it still functions and looks good.

First… I get this isn’t pottery barn type quality but it all needs another coat of paint.You will need a drill. The holes for the support beam for the mattress are not measured correctly so you will need to measure and drill your own holes.Lastly… we followed the directions meticulously. However, when it came to the desk portion, the holes were at different heights on the corresponding pieces of wood. The desk is not flush and is off on the left side by over half and inch. We were afraid that we had done something wrong and disassembled components. However, we had done it correctly. It’s just off.I contacted the support for Merax and get the same canned responses from a ticket desk overseas. They ask for more information each time and then say they can’t find it so go back to Amazon. The only option with Amazon is to disassemble and return or to get $25. No correct parts. No actual fix to the issue.And lastly… the bed is really creaky and makes a lot of noise with virtually any movement.

Good for the money. The wood is solid and my 82lb boy loves it. It doesn't wiggle much and it doesn't squeek (which is why I got wood) and it was fairly easy to assemble, I think it took me 2 or 3 hours. I had a small problem with some of the hardware bolts they sent, 4 of the bolts weren't threaded, I sent them an email requesting those 4 bolts be shipped back, they responded within a few hours and shipped out an entire new case with ALL of the beds hardware (which was unnecessary but good customer service).

The items look just like the picture. What I will say is that this takes way more than 30 minutes to assemble. It took me 3.5 hours to assemble. Part of the problem is that half of the parts were not labeled correctly which resulted in trying to read the instructions which has such small pictures which made it harder. I also did this by myself for most of it. The wood planks that are for the support for the mattress didn't all reach like they should making it difficult to screw in. There were also no divots on where to screw them in. They look great assembled, but if I decide to move out of my current house, that is going to be very difficult to transport.

The quality is really good. It was easy to follow the directions, a bit time consuming though. I wish there was a ladder because my daughter has to climb on the shelves to get on the bed. Not the easiest way up but it works.
