We'e using these for Shure and Sennheiser lavalier microphones, and they are a great alternative to the unbelievably expensive OEM clips. The part that clips to the wire is plastic and isn't all that sturdy, but if you don't open it up too far, once it's on it doesn't come off. Actors are losing clips all the time and at this price replacing them is no big deal.

We have lost the clips for our Sennheiser mic packs for our museum tour headsets and these work great as replacement collar clips.

I ordered these clips as my old phone headset clip finally "died." I was thrilled to find Amazon offered clips for corded headset and headphones. I'm pleased with these clips. I live in my headset for business calls. I also use headphones while traveling with my computer. This clip has a strong spring, so it holds on to your clothing well. It also doesn't move and remains stable on the cord. This clip doesn't rotate (some do). However, it works well and does its job nicely.TIP: If you don't use clips now, invest in them to protect your equipment. You want to use a clip with a corded headset or headphones because otherwise the wire will pull on the equipment, and eventually cause it to snap or wear out. Wearing the clip avoids any tension being placed on the corded headset or headphone. It's also more comfortable while wearing a clip. You can see the clip in action in my photo. Leave adequate cord from the headset to the clip to allow for movement, but don't leave too much slack. I hope this information is helpful.

These are the most brittle earbud clips I've ever owned. They last maybe 3 days if you're lucky and they're a complete waste of money. Pay a little more and look for better quality

If you are involved with live events and use wired headsets, these are for you. Given the nature of the work, you will be clipping and removing the headset wire to your shirt repeatedly. The clip that comes pre attached to a headset's wire has a definite time to failure, as it will get twisted or caught up. With a collection of spare clips, there is no need to improvise how to secure that headset cable. These clips seem well designed to fit any standard headset cable.
