I got this knife to help cut meat and other items when I had a large batch to freeze dry. It is very comfortable to hold and works a lot like my Ulu knife that I got in Alaska. It rocks easily and cut great. I don't know how durable it will be as I was ill for a while and just started using it. It's very sharp, so be extra careful! Good deal!

This is a 2nd purchase. My Hubby loves his so getting one for our son to use with his smoker adventures. Good heft, sharp, shaped for any meat processing. The hammered enameled parts take care to make sure it gets cleaned thoroughly.

The handle appears to be plastic. A wood handle wood make it nicer but otherwise great to use and very sharp.
