You wouldn’t think a sharpener could be so good! Or any different from any other sharpener (as I did) but honestly, this is the best pencil sharpener I’ve ever used! I’m an artist, I’ve used many many over the years, and this one is hands above any of the others! It sharpens into that ‘brand new point’, every time, old pencils are brand new again with that particular angled point. I’m excited to sharpen pencils now! Yes I’m obviously getting old when such a thing brings joy, lol, but what can I say, new sharp pencils are a delight to any artist! It was a tad difficult to get out at first, to empty, but once you’ve done it once then it’s easier thereafter. Compact with a flip lid and 2 sizes to accommodate most if not all of your pencils. I love it and definitely recommend it, you’ll see what I mean about the new pencil points! So if your thinking about it, get it!..you won’t be disappointed:)

The blades are sharp and it works well with both standard and thicker pencils. However, it is quite hard to empty the sharpener. I found that placing it flat on the table and then pulling from both sides is easier (see photo for reference). Personally, I would not pay full price for it, but it is good value when discounted. I bought this when it was on offer for £3.85, which I think is a fair price.

Excellent, good quality pencil sharpener that works brilliantly. The best one that I have found, it sharpens to a clean sharp point. I definitely recommend it.

Sharpens very well. Easy to use.

It looks good and sharpens well but having to pull the plastic case out of the plastic frame/ external bits that are attached to the lid means that it’s fiddly and can dump the shavings on your lap. It also feels like it will break at some point. Personally I don’t think it’s worth £5 for a sharpener, but I haven’t bought one since I was in Primary school, so maybe that’s how much they cost now.

A good sharpener. Sharpens pencils to sharp point without breaking. Neat size and strong plastic. Worth buying.

It’s a good pencil sharpener , I use it for watercolour pencils . The only downside about it is I think it’s fiddly when emptying it . Maybe it’s me but getting the two sections apart I spill some of the contents sometimes . However I like that it is efficient and does not break the point of the pencils / crayons .

Nice pencil sharpener…holds a very small amount of shavings, but sharpens pencils that are small or larger in size to a very sharp point, it’s easy to clean them, and both of them (I bought 2~for Light & Dark Colors) have been very durable by withstanding sharpening a new set of 150 pencils and coloring several things and are definitely a great value. Nice that they have lids on them and doesn’t allow shavings to spill and can be transported easily.

OK with cutting but very troublesome to remove the trash afterwards. Design has flaws. Re-design the product.
