This film worked perfectly! We had bright intense sun coming in our big windows and shining on our guitars. That can ruin guitars. So we found this film and thought that’d be a better option than blinds since our windows are triangle shape. It was fairly easy to install, a bit time consuming for our four windows, but the result is great! We used a credit card to smooth out bubbles. We also used plain water as in the instructions. I had read other reviews where people used soapy water but we followed the directions that were in the box. It’s been a week since we put the film up and it’s still doing great.

Perfect for this older property with a bathroom window that used to have blinds. Took the dirty blinds off and put this frost film for privacy instead and it looks so much better and works like a charm! Love this item and will order more for sections of other windows!Definitely recommend.

My only complaint is that I wish that this somehow came with a cutting tool.Warning do not assume you’ll be fine with household scissors, unless they’re razor sharp it’s a noI got the job done with a metal credit card, a bottle of warm water and a tiny bit of hand soap mixed together, and one of those hand held razor holders.Not gonna lie it was a little annoying, only because the product is like cutting through rubber. I tried using fully open scissors but quickly had to find a razor for the job and it was still a little bit sketchy. Def need a utility knife or exacto knife of some kind for 0 difficulty but obviously my fault for not being prepared.For my window type it took about an hour start to finish, I’m happy with the outcome you can clearly make out anything held directly up against the film but from a few inches away it’s anyone’s guess, plenty for the distance walking beside the door in this hallway so I’m happy. Also it gives off doctors office or receptionist window vibes doesn’t look redneck or anything I can’t complain for the price either.If you have steady hands and some patience this product is sweet, finished my door and I still have a crap ton of film left for whatever else 4/5 recommended

I have installed this before, I wanted to go a little darker this time. I had the other window film for 4 years and I am going to reuse it on some other windows. Very easy to install just use soapy water in a spray bottle along with paper towel and a old credit card to smooth out the bubbles. This can be installed by one person I have an extremely large window and it worked fine for me. Highly recommend!!

Bubbles are impossible to get out no matter how much water I spray between the film and glass. Once you cut the first piece, it's impossible to seperate the clear film from the frost film and the corners don't stay. I used the whole tool to cover a glass shower for some privacy and 2 of the three are peeling off. I cleaned the glass thoroughly before applying. Very disappointed in the amount of time and effort I put into application for it to look terrible and peel right off.

Our dog is very territorial and he barks at every single person who walks by. Because of that, we’ve never been able to open the front windows or doors so he doesn’t pop off. This etchmark is the perfect solution! We can let light in but he can’t see anything! It’s not supposed to block every single detail, but it keeps our little menace blind enough to solve the problem.Install definitely has a learning curve, but it’s very doable, and larger pieces are easier if you have an extra set of hands. You can kind of get into a groove once you get the hang of it. It’s good quality stuff and I would highly recommend it!

This window film went on easily, no bubbles or creases. It allows nearly all the light through, and shows the outline of plants that are on the window sill. Otherwise, it gives 100% privacy!! Which is important, as it's in a large low-silled window in our bathroom, near the tub and shower. We're 100% pleased!

I initially bought this film about a year ago and bought some more recently. After having it installed for a year, I can very confidently recommend this product to anyone that wants privacy and sun/heat protection.> This is a wonderful product! It provides extra privacy without breaking the bank. I installed these on all of my windows since my apartment is facing a walkway and people walk in and out all the time. I used to not want to open my blinds to avoid people seeing inside. This product not only prevents people from seeing inside my home but also gives me peace of mind. I live in Arizona and the sun is scorching hot here, this film also prevents as much heat and sunlight coming in during those summer months.⚠️ Keep in mind, you CAN see inside at night time.Also, only giving it 4 stars because there were some wrinkles on the film before I even installed it. Some were not possible to take out and smoothen out. You can't see them from far away, but if you stand closer you can definitely see them.
