I wanted to backup my iPhone to something physical. First of all ICloud storage is getting expensive and this allowed me to save the like $80 or so a year I was paying for extra iCloud storage. Second, It came with proper adapter to be able to backup USB-C devices to the flash drive or manage my iPhone backup and other stored items on the flash drive on devices that didn’t offer USB ports only USB-C. ALL AROUND GREAT ITEM! Recommended to all of my clients and friends. They all love theirs also. Can’t go wrong
