I was expecting a lens that you glue in, like the ones you see on YouTube. You simply pick out the broken bits, scrape out the old adhesive, carefully add some superglue and drop a new lens in. BUT, this kit relies on you opening up your phone (something I have no intention of doing - because it's waterproof now, and wouldn't be after doing this!) The screwdrivers are the sort of crap you get in a Christmas cracker, and the lens was just left bashing about in the bag - I'm amazed it didn't arrive broken. Save yourself a whole lot of trouble and buy a glue-in one, rather than this one!

My camera glass cracked so a new one was needed. I bought this then followed some YouTube instructions and it worked fine. I used to make a lot of model aeroplanes when I was younger and that's the level of skill, patience and perseverance you will need. Once it's in, it's fine.

Install was easy with a YouTube video I found. The camera works but the zoom is not great. It lost capabilities. You might find this lens too weak compared to the original one.
