This was bigger than I wanted (purely my fault), but as far as plastic funnels go, this seems to be a pretty decent one. My only complaint is they don't give you much of a spout to work with. Other people might find that advantageous, depending on what you're doing with it, right? Overall, pretty good.

This is a funnel. No two ways about it. If you are looking for NOT a funnel, then keep it moving. This isn't for you. That being said, if you ARE looking for a funnel, then you should buy this product. This product IS a funnel.I should also point out that I have used this funnel several times (6 to 8 times) and it has performed as expected every time.Best practices:1) Don't pour too quickly. Liquid can pour down the funnel hole only so quickly.2) Don't use the funnel upside down. It is not meant to be used in that way.3) Also do NOT use the funnel sideways. It is not meant to be used in that way.4) Liquids only. Gases and solids don't work (I haven't tried, tbh, but I doubt they would).Good luck with your funneling!

Funny writing a review on something as simple as a funnel but as I've discovered not all funnels are created equal. I had a funnel similar to this one but lost it and in an attempt to replace it ended up purchasing two sets and didn't end up with anything I liked. While both sets included a funnel similar in size, both had much narrower holes. This can be good in some situations but I typically use funnels for oil changes and the small holes limited how quickly the oil would drain out. This funnel has a hole about twice the diameter so it drains much more quickly. If I have any complaints it's that the spout is a bit shorter than the one it replaced and it would be even better if it was about an inch or two longer.

When I picked up this funnel, I did so on a whim because everyone knows when it comes to funnels, you think of the major players like Justrite, Polymax, and Americraft. Those brands really do make some excellent funnels, however where I think this Lumax really shines is the angle of the wall proportional to the spigot. You see, where your typical Justrite 18 oz. or the Wirthco 17 oz have a 160º - 165º angle, the Lumax LX-1602 16 oz. is coming in at 158º, which as you can imagine, is a pretty significant upgrade. What you sacrifice in a couple of ounces in overall volume you get back in performance. This beauty pushes lower viscosity liquids like through like a greased rocket through the stratosphere. But where this black beauty really shines is with your higher viscosity liquids: your crank case oils, gear oils, and transmission fluids.During an oil change using 10W-50 synthetic blend oil I clocked four quarts using four different funnels and results are as follows:• Justrite 18 oz. - 13.44 seconds• Americraft 20 oz. - 14.44• Wirthco 17 oz. - 15.52• Lumax LX-1602 16 oz. - 11.8911.89 seconds, folks!! Can you believe that? That's one quart of oil into my motor in less time than it takes to flow a half pint of two-stroke gas into my weed whacker. I was expecting a win, but never did I imagine such blistering performance coupled with outstanding value. You're really never going to find a finer funnel for under $5. Heck, I'd venture to say this bad boy can hold it's own against some of the more exotic silicone and poly-vinyl based funnels that start in the neighborhood of $8 go up from there.Can't stress the value in this enough and will be purchasing many, many more. 5 stars all day.

I needed this to add coolant. It worked fine and looks as though it will last many years.
