Does the job.
I got this because I had two lines not working on the back window of my car. It came with both a repair kit for the the printed lines on the windows and a glue kit for the tab that connects the printed elements to the electrical system. In my case the lines were not working but the break wasn't a gap in the line. Instead you could see where it was discolored on the outside of the window. I used the kit an painted it in, and saw that it had filled in the discolored spot. After letting it dry I tested it out and my the two formerly non working lines worked again. Others comment the color doesn't match. True enough, but it does do the job. I used Frog Tape to keep my lines clean when I painted them on.I thought I didn't need the tab glue but then my Jeep's rear defrost wasn't working at all. It turns out the tab had fallen off. I didn't have an ideal connection point for gluing it back but I cleaned it up followed the instructions and glued the tab back on. After that the defrost on the jeep worked. For me that was a nice bonus since I hadn't gotten the kit for the tab repair. The photo shows one of my repairs. I taped wide intentionally due to the kind of discontinuity in that spot. That may or may not have helped with the repair.Overall it seems expensive but it works.

MFR Directions could be better
My opinion is this kit has what you need to repair rear window defogger. I've tried this repair twice on my car, thought the second time would be a guarantee. Directions say to apply up to three coats until you can't see light coming through, then remove guide after 30 mins. I used painter's tape because I had several spots requiring repair and needed custom guide. When I removed tape after 30 minutes, most of the paint came with the tape. I've since seen some recommendations to "score" the paint before removing the tape. I have a spare brush and might have enough copper paint to try again, but disappointed the directions don't better address how the paint will come up with the tape if you don't score it.

It Works!
I was skeptical that this would work as described since it had so many mixed reviews. I found the reviews a little deceiving as this is actually two separate repair solutions in one kit. One of the solutions (the one I did not use) is to re-attach a broken "tab" that connects the main power line to the defrost grid. The other solution is the grids themselves. This product worked well for bridging broken grid lines back together. I used blue painters masking tape rather than the one (1) supplied mask since I had several breaks on five different grid lines to repair. I followed the instructions to a tee and the conductive paint worked great. There was enough in the small bottle for my seven breaks with a little left over. After 30 minutes I removed the masking tape and after another 24 hours I ran the defogger to test it. I could feel with the back of my fingers that each individual grid line was now heating up. The most difficult part was placing the masking tape on the window such that there was a small enough spacing for the grid lines. My window is angled and hard to reach the furthest grid lines toward the back. With some patience I was able to get it. The color of the paint is slightly lighter than the original grid material but not noticeable from the inside of the car. It is slightly more noticeable from the outside, but to me still worth it to have a functioning defogger again. I am more careful now when cleaning the back window to (hopefully) not disturb the repairs. I can't speak to how long the repairs will last and will update this review if I start to see failures.

Didn't secure the connector.
I bought this kit so I could secure the connector that broke off on the rear window of my Jeep Wrangler. Because it's winter I removed the window and brought it inside so the glass would be warm when I tried to repair it. I followed the instructions to the letter. A few days after I reinstalled the glass I checked. The connector wasn't secured to the glass.
