Better than generic equivalents
These plates last around 100 hours of sanding but cheaper ones last less than half that, and come apart during use! This OEM version is what you need. It is better than average in every way, and lasts well.

The velcro attached to the unit will get damaged very easily if the sanding pad slips. The area of velcro adhesion is too small due to dust vents and the central attachment point which means the sanding sheet can detach accidentally.The attachment area is too small to accommodate any accidental damage. I bought a replacement head and it was ruined within 15 minutes of use when the sanding sheet slipped. Multitool is OK but the sanding functionality is poor

Quite expensive and wears VERY quickly, rather disappointed with Worx. Supplier was quick to dispatch it.

The one that came with the unit was useless after about 10 minutes sanding
The one that came with the unit was useless after about 10 minutes sanding, the sanding pad loosing its grip and melting at the edges. I thought I had pressed on too hard and that it was my fault. I bought a new one and treated it with caution - again after light use, the same thing happened - so I must conclude that like others that have commented - this Worx tool is not fit for purpose.
