I really like the quality of this oil and the idea behind it. But I’ll be honest — drinking it straight is almost impossible, the taste is extremely strong and burns the throat. My solution was to mix it with MCT coconut oil, and that actually made it much smoother and easier to take. Fun fact: studies show that MCT oil helps the body absorb polyphenols and other active compounds more efficiently, so you’re not only cutting the harsh taste, but also boosting absorption. Now it works fine for me, and I still get the benefits without the harshness.

I gave this olive oil a try and wow; the quality is amazing! It's packed with polyphenols, and it is great for everything from morning shots to drizzling over salads. It even helped with inflammation; the taste is a wild ride, it bites back with serious bitterness! I knos it's healthy, so I take a tablespoon on empty stomach every morning.

I bought this to take a tablespoon twice a day for health benefits but my wife tasted it and said it's the best EVOO she's ever had. So now I have 2 bottles a month on Subscribe and Save so that she can have one to use in the kitchen for bread, salads and cooking! It definitely has the peppery kick you hope for from a high phenolic EVOO, opaque bottle, batch dated, very high quality.

This olive oil was recommended to me by a health care professional. Although it is a bit pricey, it is well worth the cost. It's taste is delicious and coming from Greece, a very healthy choice!

Bought this entirely to take as a shot for health reasons. It has a strong grassy green taste which I love, and it’s a beautiful green color and no burn at all to me. However, I must confess I also take a shot of Black seed oil daily for my Hashimoto’s thyroiditis and that has a big burn! I actually like it, it feels like it’s working. I will see how this olive oil helps with inflammation. Definitely a high quality olive oil! 🫒

I know this is the real deal because it has a very deep, earthy plus slightly bitter olive aftertaste. And if you've just brushed your teeth and throat, this oil will produce a slight burn down the back of the throat when swallowed by itself. That's the high concentration of polyphenols in the oil. $54 a bottle is too steep for me to use this liberally like salad dressing. So, I'm diluting into a another proven, high 550mg polyphenols brand olive oil. That comes inside a 64oz container. I'll mix them into a large, olive oil sprayer dispenser. So I still have use of all three liquids after, different polyphenol potencies. I'm using this more as a polyphenol supplement to help control my blood sugars and improve insulin sensitivity in my body's tissues. About half a tablespoon a day is all that would be need with this brand and the other bulk sixed brand mixed together. Pretty potent stuff! This is all in addition the other multitude of benefits high polyphenol oils do for our health. Glad this became available. Grab it while you can! Prior to my purchase, this gold label, very high polyphenol strength, had been out of stock for a while on several websites.

PJ Kabos is a premium olive oil that is great for your health. It's made in Greece from cold pressed extra virgin olive oil with a high phenolic content. Every morning, I take a shot of this olive oil knowing that I'm putting a premium olive oil into my body and starting my day on the right foot.

This is a good olive oil. I originally got it for taking shots, but I tried it on my salad since it’s easier for me to get a spoonful that way. It tasted really good! I’m not sure why some reviews mention a bad taste—maybe it’s just personal preference. For me, it’s smooth and fresh. Would buy again!
