Pocket Microscope 2.0MP USB 50X-1600X Magnification Mini Microscope with 8 LEDs and Adjustable Stand for iOS Android iPad

I do a little circuitboard repair that requires me to look closely at small details. I thought I'd give this product a try after being emailed about it. What you get is a basic digital microscope. Sure enough, it can zoom in very close to details. There seems to be two effective zoom levels. The first is close. The second is very close and appears when you rotate the zoom dial to the other extreme. This is where you can start to see all the detail in a human hair, for example. The app required to use the microsope is called Sup-Anesok. Notably, the microscope does NOT appear as a webcam, so can't be used with Windows or Mac. Care is needed with the app because I got a warning that it wanted to connect to devices on my local network (Why? Their app has no need for that). I also got a warning that it wanted to "communicate" with a server in Shenzhen, China (Again, why? The app has no need to do that.) In each case I could click "Don't Allow" without causing any usability issues with the app. Both image and video files are outputted at 1440x1920, which is marginally higher than HD (1080p). However, you can't really zoom in without the image looking a bit blurry. In other words, this image quality is just acceptable. I tried the microscope on an iPhone 13 and an iPad Air 2022 model. This let me test both the USB C and Lightning connectors coming out of the microscope. It worked fine on both. There are three brightness levels for the LEDs. Middle or low seems best, because the highest setting can cause the subject to be over-illuminated.

Microscope is good the stand is garbage

You can see for yourself how amazing this is. Thr magnification is brilliant. Well made and could even take it with you in your bag if you wanted to as irs not very bulky. I bought it to monitor my fish eggs but you can do so much more! I'm running round my fish tanks seeing what else I can capture haha. Really easy to set up and use too

This Microscope is very interesting and excellent quality. Download the App to your phone and connect to the microscope with the cable. This image quality is fantastic,simple to operate with a focus wheel on the side. There is an option to turn on the light and you can take a photo or video via the app. Works with my Android Phone it will also work with IOS. All in all I would highly recommend this microscope.

This is great if you just want a slightly bigger picture than what you see with the naked eye. 1600x NO CHANCE!!! It just blurs. I tried it on a range of samples on microscope slides, on objects from around my room and objects outside (range of sizes). With each, I could get a slightly bigger image, but as soon as I tried to focus in further it just blurred. The instructions with the produce are minimal and the app is poor. It’s a big waste of money really. I got better magnification from an ancient analogue microscope that only did 20x magnification. Really sicappointed with the product.

So this isn't an optical microscope. You have to have it plugged into your phone or perhaps a computer (not sure about the computer). It could have some more weight to it if I were to be picky, but on a steady desk, hold the base while adjusting focus and it's good. Very clear images and you can adjust the magnification on the app. I'm really pleased with it.

It took me quite a while to decide how many stars to award this little microscope, on the one hand it is priced at quite a low price point, £31.59 at the time of writing and it certainly does give great magnification and can produce very crisp and clear images, the LED illumination of the subject is also very useful. However, there are also some quite big drawbacks, the main one for me is the lack of a focusing adjustment, the zoom is controlled by the wheel on the side of the device, but this is also described as the focus control in the description, maybe I am missing something but I found it quite tricky to get the magnification and sharpness right in several situations. The stand is also not great, it does allow a wide range of movement, but it is again quite tricky to firstly get the microscope in the right position and then get it to stay there while you lock it. The app isn't the greatest to use, a device like this deserves a better app. So, this has great potential for fun and practical use, but because there I find it so tricky to use I can really only give it three stars, I wish that I could give it more, but if it it just had a few tweaks it would warrant four or even five stars.

Saying that it does work. I’m using it to identify old coins and for that it does the job. For the price I can’t complain

Ho acquistato questo microscopio un paio di settimane fa perché volevo togliermi lo sfizio di osservare più da vicino alcune cose. È sicuramente un prodotto molto smart, si collega al pc ed ha un’app apposita di gestione su cui trasmette immagini. Chiaramente non parliamo di un microscopio da laboratorio (ne ho visti tanti soprattutto nel periodo universitario) però fa il suo dovere e anche ben oltre le aspettative. Con l’ingrandimento fino a 1600x riesco a vedere cose incredibili: l’altro giorno l’ho provato con un vetrino e ho visto il contenuto dell’acqua o di altri alimenti, fino a vederne le più piccole componenti ed è stato sensazionale. L’altra volta l’ho provato su un legno vecchio e non vi dico nemmeno cosa ci ho trovato 🤣. Un fantastico strumento per il divertimento e la curiosità di tutti i giorni, ottimo acquisto.

This digital microscope is very useful for a number of reasons like, reading tiny print, inspecting things at a magnified level, research, school projects or anything needed to magnify in general. I included a video which I magnified letters on a page and the box it came in. Installing the device and app is so easy! simply connect the cord from the microscope to your phone's charging port it should Download and install the app automatically. Then You then follow the prompts that display to give the app permissions and you're connected. You are also given the option to automatically launch the app whenever the microscope is connected. That is it. Almost the entire installation process except for allowing permissions to your device is done automatically and the microscope is ready to use. Just make sure you remove the lens cap. You may have to rotate the knob to find the optimum focus point, especially if things look dark or fuzzy. This is very educational and fun at the same time. It can scan items in real time, or snap photos and record videos. It is very versatile. The product description lists the magnification as 50X-1600X. The app also has a button that changes magnification from 1X to 1.5X and 2.X, although the view through my phone shows the magnification to be much greater than that. It is inexpensive and has a good app. this device does do a fairly impressive job of magnifying anything placed in front of its lens. I'm sure i will find a number of situations where I will be able to use its capabilities, especially connected to an iPad etc. A+ and highly recommending to buy.

La mejor manera de que veáis lo que puede hacer, es viendo las fotos y vídeos que he subido. Por alguna reseñas veo que algunas personas no saben utilizarlo y le ponen una mala reseña. Para mí, por el precio que tiene cumple perfectamente las expectativas y con creces! Yo lo uso para las placas de electrónica y va perfectamente. Espero que os sean útiles las imágenes y el vídeo.
