Hi, can you mount this to the wall?

I don’t think it is right design to mount on a wall. It is meant to be a floor standing cabinet.

Is the 55cm width accurate as i have a space thats exactly that and need to make sure?

Hi yes it is pretty much. The top of ours is 55.15cm (1.5mm longer than 55cm). The base is slightly less and measures 51.7cm. Hope that helps you

The drawer front is 6", the actual drawer height is 4"

If you removed the drawers, could that side be used as open shelving (i.e. are the drawers set on shelves, or just rails with a front facade)? Thanks

The drawers are on rails but there are also shelves in between the drawers. If whilst constructing you didn't wish to add the drawers you could have open shelves or a combination of drawers and shelves. It's a very well-constructed unit and great quality.
