Works really well. Highly recommended
I have a guitar that's a little out of whack, and the strings buzz really badly unless clamped down on the third fret or higher. This does that so well! Being able to change the tension is probably key to it, and this is really ready to do that. It is a quality piece of kit, fixing the issue on my guitar (I love playing the key of C shapes at capo 3 anyway). It works well on my competent guitars too! If day is h good value for money.

best of all capos
i got this and the Shubb deluxe and D'Addario NS Capo Lite, and the NS Tri Action is the best of all, you can easily store in on the headstock, easily apply it on the strings, the rubber touching the strings are longer than the Shubb so you can just pop it on and will cover all the 6 strings but Shubb has smaller rubber part and you have to look at it and adjust it to make sure that it is properly on which is very annoying and the Shubb is doesnt have the quick trigger and also hard to store it on the headstock, so the TRi action wins in everything, and also easily adjustable tension. One thing to note is that the sound of the guitar will change no matter what capo are you using, the human finger is soft and filled with blood which is water mostly, it attenuates the sound differently (more) than a piece of rubber, the strings will have almost this rotary sine wave effect (like on electric guitar effects), for experiments the best is to apply the capo on the 4TH fret and i will give the guitar a totally different sound, like a smaller bodied guitar even a bit like sitar a tiny bit. Every capo will put the tuning off a tiny bit but with the adjustable tension this is minimized so i dont retune with the capo on. Also intonation is is highly effected by temp, humidity and age of the string, unfortunatly a good Elixir 12-53 will become hard, discolored, and frayed at the age of 3 weeks only if you play like 4 hours everyday.

Super Easy to Move/attach. Great sound
Decoded to buy a new Capo as mine was super old, and was pinching the strings too tightly, causing my guitar to sound slightly off. This capo is really well made and super easy to move around the neck. I fit my Tanglewood perfectly, especially at the back of the neck, which only means a more evenly spread pressure. The pick holder is a nice touch. Great for a back up pick if you rock too hard and it flies across the stage. I dunno if its a kind of placeabo effect but my guitar sounds alot better with this capo than my last. The micro adjustment is easy to dial in and i’ve tried seeing the results. Higher up the neck my strings where slightly buzzing so i applied a little but more tension and id eradicated it. Winner in my book. Even if it is a bit pricey

Very good capo
Bought two of these. Very happy with them so far. Only a few weeks in so holding back 5 stars for that reason. Very strong clamp which can be adjusted in strength.

Decent Capo
Very solid construction despite being slim. The adjustment mechanism is very good. A little on the expensive side but should last a lifetime.

Diaddario tri capo
Been playing guitars for 50 years now and this is by far the best capo I have ever owned. I've tried many capos including the g7th that loses its squeeze after a fairly short period. This holds tune effortlessly and is very quick and easy to use with minimal grip strength required. If I lost this I would buy another immediately it's that good and the build quality is impeccable also. Brilliant capo I'm very happy with it.

Could be the best capo
This capo is very pricey... but the fact that I can just stick it straight on a twelve string during a gig and actually get on with playing the song rather than spending the next two minutes wrestling it back in tune makes it worth every penny. And I can stick it on any guitar I own, electric or acoustic, and do the same because it just works. I haven't had it long so it remains to be seen if the flexible 'finger' pad material will hold up over years of use. If that hardens then it does sort of render the whole thing pointless, so it's a concern. Also some people have mentioned the screw mechanism failing, but it's unclear if that's the fault of the capo, or if they're just brutes (very rock n roll to be fair). But I've never had any issues with d'addario gear falling apart, and they do have a lifetime warranty, so I'm not too worried. If it does fail I will update this review.

Great value quality capo.
Great little lightweight capo. Used all the time at gigs. Doesn’t weigh the guitar arm down.
