This stuff is beard super glue! It is a nice smooth paste, but as soon as you start moving it, then it becomes very tacky. I do not move the paste in my hands much, just go straight to the beard and rub it in. However, I have had instances where I did not rub it in enough and I get a really crusty patch. Highly reccomend combing your beard first and then brush it in after applying. The next day you really need to wash your beard the next day. Otherwise you end up ripping out hairs from the paste. This stuff comes off really easily when you wash your beard and your hands just need a little water to wash off the remnants. This paste provides amazing hold that I have not found anywhere. My only real gripe is that it does not really provide moisturization. Days I use this instead of my normal beard balm, the beard is very dry and tangles up. However, I still use it for the amazing hold for certain days.

good product and once you figure out the right amount for your beard texture, it becomes a great product. Initial hold vs hold 1 hour later vs 8 hours later, even better long term hold....

This product holds my unruly curly goatee in place and keeps the hair soft and moisturized. However, its unappealing gray color and unpleasant scent will prevent me from buying it again.

Let me begin by stating the truth: I. Do. Not. Care. About. Beard. Paste. I have no beard. I do not desire a beard. I do not acknowledge beards unless they are attached to a human who provides snacks. However, my human placed this suspicious jar on the counter, so I must investigate. It is the law. My findings: 1. The Scent Is… Annoying, But Interesting It smells like a lumberjack with good hygiene. I sniffed it for 0.3 seconds, sneezed dramatically, and walked away. This is a standard feline appraisal. 2. The Texture Is DANGEROUS I touched it. I regret touching it. It stuck to my paw, and then to my other paw, and then to my dignity. Fortunately, I groomed myself free like the warrior I am. 3. The Human’s Beard Looks Fluffier I don’t care. But I noticed. It looks like freshly brushed tail fluff, which is respectable. 4. The Jar Is a Perfect Size for Pushing Off a Counter And indeed, it was pushed. For science. 5. The Human Seems Delighted He preens. He looks proud. His beard no longer resembles the underside of the couch. Good for him, I guess. Final Conclusion: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five stars. I hate it. I don’t care about it. I don’t understand why humans smear scented paste into their facial fur. But it brings them joy, so I will tolerate its existence — from a distance.

There used to be inconsistency in the consistency this product: sometimes it would be dry and harder, like a tin of cheap shoe wax, and sometimes it would be a little softer, but still tacky. It still always had strong hold, a beige color, and it looked and smelled like natural mud clay, natural. I just got a few new containers, and it's completely different and inferior product. It stinks to high heaven with a strong STRONG odor like industrial floor polish. It's grey in color (which I don't care about) and is thin and runny like soft pudding. It also doesn't hold nearly as well as the old formula. Much worse hold now. And yet, the label and ingredient list are identical, which doesn't make sense. Fire whoever changed this product.

I have several cans. Bottles of product of balms butter and oil which are now in the garbage where they belong.The problem with these is. Even using modest amount applied after an hour or so the product has migrated to my neck, yuck! The oil even worse causing sores on skin and itching.Did I mention no hold?Enter WW Styling Paste , problem solved.My beard is always unruly after washing and it takes several days for natural face oil to tame and then it's time to wash again. However after washing and drying while still damp rub in a surprisingly small amount of product and style.After setting for 10 minutes or so while with a hint of moisture restyle with hand or comb.After hours of ware if beard becomes disheveled hand or comb again. The one complaint although they say that they use natural ingredients has two that are questionable (to me)although they are near the end of the list and hopefully limited in quantity .PS not affiliated with WW.These comments are only about beard control which is my main concern not conditioning.

I like this stuff, it’s perfect for keeping my beard from puffing out and makes it look uniform. I have a curly beard and I need this product to make it behave. It washes out easily, doesn’t dry my beard out, stays consistent after brushing, and works like it ought to. I appreciate the unscented formula.
