Cafe Du Monde Coffee Decaf And Chicory, 13 Ounce (Pack of 3)

This is decaf coffee with bold, strong flavor like caffeinated coffee with out the caffeine jitters. A little goes a long way. One tablespoon per 2 cups of water. The only coffee I’ll drink.

This is the only brand that I use to make my iced coffee. I also but the regular. I’ve been using this brand since my visit to New Orleans in 2005. Absolutely the best tasting with no bitter taste and a perfect strong blend of flavor every time. I’ve used it in my mini percolator as well as in our Keurig

UPDATE June 2022: I don't know if Cafe du Monde saw my review or just figured it out themselves but I haven't had a bad batch in several months. Changing my rating to 5 stars. __________________________________ This is my favorite coffee and I've been drinking it for years. I can't drink fully caffeinated coffee so I have to go with decaf to get my fix. There's a lot of dookie-talking about decaf being horrible. These are lies. The truth is that awfulness is not a thing inherent with decaf, it's just a thing inherent with coffee that is awful. This decaf is the best I have found. (Starbucks can be OK, but I think they tend to over-roast their beans. They're also more expensive.) The addition of the chicory is what seems to make this so good. Here's there problem, and why I reluctantly am giving it 3 stars: Cafe Du Monde needs better quality control. Sometimes the batch is excellent and every cup is rich and wonderful and I delight in every sip. This is when it gets 5 stars. But sometimes it's either burnt, making for a real nasty cup; or seemingly very low on chicory, leaving what amounts to very average-tasting coffee. Despite this unpredictability, I continue to buy it, because most of the time it is really good. It's just very disappointing when you get a bad batch and either have to go to the trouble of returning it and waiting for a replacement to arrive, hoping it isn't from the same run; or throw the offending can away and hope the next one isn't the same.

Great coffee!! My husband won't drink anything else. We can no longer find it at the Fresh Market, but thank goodness we can find it on Amazon!

Great value for the price...It has a chicory taste.. Hooray..

have you ever been to New Orleans....this is the coffee they serve at the Cafe Du Monde....this is the only coffee for me try and you will love it....nothing better.

As we get older, some of us start having issues with caffeine. At the same time decaf is, generally speaking, garbage that tastes like it was booked in used toilet water. THIS however is wonderful, nearly as good as their regular coffee/chicory. Full of flavor, great with just a little creme. It's good by itself, but also an ideal product to use as a "half caff" self made breakfast blend. Historically I buy while bean Italian roast and grind it just before I brew. I still do when I need a caffeine fix, I just cut it with Cafe DuMonde decaf. Don't hesitate, get it. If you don't like to grind and love flavor try the regular caffeinated stuff. I was originally turned on to this brand by a Vietnamese woman I dated. Vietnamese coffee in restaurants is this brand with sweetened condensed milk. It's phenomenal.

Overall, you can't go wrong with this pkg. I enjoy this brand of decaf coffee. Its aroma and flavor takes me away from all the hustle and bustle of the day's issue. One out of three cans were dented but did not affect my opening it; nor, its flavor.
