Living proof Full Volume & Root-Lifting Spray

This spray has amazing hold. It does start out a little sticky when wet but when the hair is dry it is not sticky at all. It gives hair volume that lasts. It is a little expensive but totally worth it. I have very thick coarse hair and this is one of the few products that works with my hair.

This product works miracles. It provides tremendous volume and fullness. In fact, I took it on a cruise, and the hairdresser was impressed to see what this product could do. Highly recommend it!!

This product really worked for me. My hair stays fuller all day, I’m very happy with the results!

Great product, but I pour it into my own spray bottle as the original container doesn’t spray well or leaks.

REVISED REVIEW - I am changing the rating of this product from a five star to a one star. In the CON section below, I mentioned that the product was not spraying from the bottle. I had to hit the pump 10 to 15 times before I could even get one spray. I opened up the bottle to transfer it to another spray bottle and realized why. There were two clumps of coagulated substance mixed in with the liquid (see picture) preventing any spray from coming out. I have no idea what it is, but I’m going to trash this product and order something else because this was obviously not produced correctly and I don’t want to waste money on another and find the same thing. PRO: This product does for my hair what it would never do on its own. I’m growing out my hair and I’ve been super patient the last 12 months. Now that I’m starting to get some real noticeable length, it needs help in the volume and “natural curl” department. I’ve got straight fine hair and today I came home with flattened limp hair. Fortunately this spray just got delivered today. I sprayed some of this directly onto my dry hair, about 6” away from my head, shook and quickly restyled and shook again. Caution - it adheres to your hair ***very quickly****. I used a wide tooth comb and carefully buffed it out, shook my head again and it freaking looks and feels amazing. In less than 3 minutes it was like I had someone else’s head of hair. No joke. CON: I can only get one spray per pump every 10-15 seconds or so. This bottle does not spray well at all. So I unscrewed the cap, removed the thin straw and ran hot water through it as well as the pump device itself. It helped somewhat but I may end up transferring the product into a different spray bottle that I know will work. I don’t want to send this one back and then have to wait for another one. I’ll deal with it, but well worth the money.

I generally really like Living Proof products, but this was a miss for me. When I used it on my fine, wavy hair, it felt really sticky and left a hard residue (almost as though I had applied mousse). Additionally, there was an issue with the pump (it stopped working after only a few uses). Not nearly as effective as other volume boosting hair sprays that I’ve tried.

This and the thickening cream are the best of their kind. Especially for thin hair
