This lye works well and a good price. Very happy with my purchase.

Price was good when I got it in 2019, seems to have shot up a lot since then. It acts like sodium hydroxide - so really when you have a 16 oz of NaOH (in the can or sink or in an experiment making H2) how can you not be happy? Was the first item that ever also cleared my drain - they often clog some 20 feet from the sink (based on the snake I use), and since this is a dirty unpleasant job that I go to great lengths everything to avoid (you have seen the auto siphon system I used for a week that drained outside), I tried 14 oz of lye and it took a day but it worked!

This was my third time buying this in bulk. I have been buying it every three/four/five years. This is basic lye that I pour down the drain every week to dissolve grease, shampoo, soap, hair, etc. I do notice that the price has been increasing every time I buy it.

Most affordable lye I could find. Works perfect for cold process soap making. As with most lye, there are little impurities, but that's what a strainer is for.

Awesome product! I only had to use it once and it cleared away a very stubborn clog in our main drain which we tried everything else prior to using this product to no avail. This works very well as it is advertised to do. I truly recommend this product before even calling a plumber

I am a soap maker, this is by far the cheapest lye price I have came across.

:Like that it's cheap and it works. Comes in small granules so it's easy to pour into shower drain and they sink to the site of the blockage. You can hear it working and then the drain clears. Now I put a small amount in the drain every week or two and haven't had an issue since.
