Great book, very informative.

Although im a returning hgv driver the book is very informative due to things that have changed since i last drove, for a novice its a must have.

I bought this after seeing it being recommended on a YouTube channel I watch. I am going through the HGV boot camp and wanted a book and not just apps. The book was useful and I have recommended it to others in the same situation. That said, it is a shame that there are some very silly spelling mistakes for a published book.

This book is nothing short of having your grandad sat next to you (who has been driving trucks) since the war. As you learn to pass your HGV DRIVER TRAINING this is everything you are EVER gonna need.Quite literally you could sit in the drivers seat (read this book) and know how to do everything from tachograph work, roping and sheeting, straps and chains and everything in between. This is a truckers bible, written by a trucker for up and coming new truckers. It also covers being an owner driver and has links to You Tube videos to show you how it's done rather than just reading about it. Not only will it help you be in good shape for your theory part of your HGV JOURNEY it teaches you stuff you are going to need AFTER YOUR TEST AND YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN. This is not something that has been written by officials who have probably never drove a truck or only moved one from one parking place to another.Massive credit and respect to the guy that wrote this book. Well done.

A great book if you are just getting into the hgv industry, and a good point of reference for driver hours etc.I noticed some reviews complaining about print and paper quality, but my copy is well printed and the paper is perfectly adequate.

As a new class 1 HGV driver, this book is invaluable. Worth it's weight in gold👍🏻

Great book! I bought it as I booked to do my hgv class 1 training ( I already have my class2) a lot of info in there for drivers and newbies looking to get in to the industry this book is a must will help you in many ways.I passed my class1 first time this week 👍🏻
